I've had this file for a long, long time and never bothered to use it
So I thought... Why not now? LOL
Using Echo Park Designer Paper called (Note 2 Self) -

Sports Birthday...

Hello & Happy Monday Everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
I did some crafting & more organizing -
I'm finding that every time I get another package
in the mail of crafting goodies, I need to re-organize -
And lately.. that's been a lot! I think I need to stop SHOPPING!!
Of course I still have a couple of orders coming in - so it
may have to wait! We'll see! LOL

Just sharing a Simple & Quick Birthday card I made for
another teacher at school - Tried to make it more masculine -

Not sure I'm a fan of this card - But I think it'll do -
One of the Teachers at school is a HUGE
sports fan and that's why I made it -

I like the design of the card though - It opens differently then any
of my other cards - The design is from the Silhouette Store
(#170014) It's called a Peek a Boo Card

-- Supplies Used on this Card --

Cardstock - Stampin' Up, Bazzill
Designer Paper - Simple Stories (So Rad)

Musical Birthday...

Hello & Happy Wednesday Everyone!
How's your week going so far? Mine is going
pretty good, since it'll be a short work week!
Only a few weeks left til Spring Break! 😉
And YES I'm counting down the days! hahahaha

As you all know.. I make cards for the staff
at the school I work for - So I'll be posting LOTS
of Birthday cards - Hope you don't mind -

Today, I have 2 cards to share - I told you on Friday
that I got lots of new dies - so of course I want to
try them ALL out! I mean who wouldn't? Am I right? 😁

I made a Female & Male version of this card - Using Distress inks
and some AWESOME dies!! I so LOVE the way they both turned out
Metal Dies ROCK! LOL Just sayin' 😋

The Cool Musical die is from Memory Box - I was so impressed
with how great it cut through the cardstock with adhesive on the back -
I cut the Musical Birthday die out 4 x's to make that my main
focal point - The Distress inks I used on this card are - Carved Pumpkin,
Peacock Feather, Cracked Pistachio, & Picked Raspberry -
I HAD to add some Clear Wink of Stella
to the word as well.. Gotta have some sparkle!
The Background die is called (Circle Flower Background Die) and it's
a Gina Marie Designs die - Scrapbook Outlet

This turned out AWESOME!!! I love the distress inks I chose
for this one - Old Paper, Pumice Stone, & Frayed Burlap
The Background die is another Gina Marie Designs called
(Stud Dot Argyle Background) - Scrapbook Outlet
It cut out all those tiny dots - Way cool!! I also cut
some stars with the burlap 6x6 paper stack by DCWV

Both cards are popped up with some fun foam for
a little more dimension -

-- Additional Supplies Used --

Cardstock - Stampin' Up, Georgia Pacific
Big Shot, Ranger Round Blending Tool
Stitched Card Mat die - My Favorite Things
Star Dies - Little B
Glitter Enamel dots on Female card - Freckled Fawn

Beautiful Peacock....

Hello & Happy Tuesday Everyone!
I hope you all had a Fabulous weekend!!
I actually enjoyed doing nothing most of the weekend!
Of course I did some crafting, cooking, cleaning,
Hulu watching, & took my son bowling - So all in all
A pretty great weekend! Of course with that being said
that means the weekend is over! UGH! Back to work! :)

I guess if I want to support my Crafting Habit - I BETTER! LOL

I told you on Friday that I got some new dies in
so of course I HAD to make this lovely Birthday card
for another co-worker - I just LOVE this beautiful die --

Now, most of you know (PURPLE) is NOT my color of choice -
But....  It was totally PERFECT for this lovely Peacock die -
I used distress inks on white cardstock first - Cracked Pistachio,
Bundled Sage, Shaded Lilac, & Wilted Violet -
After using the distress inks, I die cut the peacock 3x's -
I always add double sided adhesive first to my CS backing -
This way the die has adhesive ready to go when cutting out -
certainly makes layering them much easier and less worry - 😏

I really like how the peacock just stands out & you really don't
need much more to add to this card -

-- Other Supplies Used --

Cardstock - Stampin' Up, Georgia Pacific, Bazzill
Stitched Card Mat Die - My Favorite Things
Loopy Rectangle Die Mat - Gina Marie Designs
Peacock Die - Purchased from Ebay
Sentiment - My Creative Time
Ranger Round Blending tools
Misti, Big Shot, Memento Black Tuxedo Ink
Nuvo Glitter Drops - Purple Rain, Midnight Sky, Sunlit Meadow,
& Silver Moondust
Bitty Sparkle Gems - CTMH

Have a FABULOUS DAY!!

Close call Holiday card...

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
I'm sooo glad it's the weekend!!!
It's a 3 day weekend on top of that!
Another week has worn me down!
Things have changed at work & I'm working
more hours - not that I mind of course -
I'm always happy to earn extra crafting money - 😁
But it's definitely been exhausting!

Do you guys have any plans for the weekend?
I think I'm gonna take Hunter Bowling -
We thought about making a trip to Vegas to
see my oldest son, but we're undecided at this point...

Well... I almost, almost didn't have time to make
my holiday card for ya! But I did it! YESSS!!!

For those of you who just started following me -
I made a Challenge to myself..... That I would make
(1) holiday card a week until the holidays roll around this year
I've actually been doing really well with keeping it going
& I'm enjoying it (bonusss) - 😍

So every week I try to post one of the holiday
cards I made and this week I almost didn't get time to make it -

Here's my close call Holiday card this week

I got a stash of new dies I have yet to use - So today's card was made
with one of them! YAY - I got this die off of Ebay and it
cuts out amazingly!!! I cut it out with DCWV Shimmer Gold Cardstock
3 x's for added dimension using Double sided adhesive

As you can tell, I also used some distress inks - Evergreen Bough,
Twisted Citron, & Mowed Lawn - I added some water drops, then lifted it up with a paper towel, then added some pretty Sheer Shimmer Spritz in Sparkle (This card really shimmers in the light) - Then I felt I needed to
add some Tarnished Brass Distress Spray stain as well - I think the background looks pretty cool....

Of course I couldn't let it go without adding some Glitter Nuvo Drops - Golden Sunset, Emerald City, & Sunlit Meadow
And some Bitty Sparkle gems from CTMH

-- Other Supplies Used on my card --

Watercolor Paper - Canson
Cardstock - Stampin' Up
Scalloped Stitched Card Mat Die - Gina Marie Designs
Round Ranger Blending tools, Big Shot

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I hope you all have a FANTASTIC Weekend!!!

Birthday cards CAS(E)....

Hello & Happy Wednesday Everyone!
I hope your week is going well so far...

Today I've got a couple of birthday cards
I created for some of the teachers at school.
I was totally inspired by my amazing crafty
friend Kendra over at: Luv 2 Scrap N' Make Cards

She makes such wonderful projects and I always feel
happy when I stop by her blog - You should really check out
her awesome projects!

The card that inspired me is LOVE is all we need

-- Here are my CAS(E) cards --

I made a female & masculine version - The female card is more like
her's in the sense that I added glitter the way she did to the word die...

I wanted the Female card to have some sparkle of course -
We all know females like sparkle! LOL
I added 2 shades of blue glitter to blend into the word
I used double sided adhesive to cover the front & back of the cardstock
put it through my big shot to cut out the word Birthday
Then I peeled the front of the word and rubbed the glitters
into the exposed adhesive - once done, I removed the adhesive from
the back of the word & attached it to my card front - The
glitter is rubbed in so well, that none of it has fallen off!
-- Kendra has a wonderful step by step on her blog --

On this one, I wanted to keep it simple since I was
creating it for a male - classic colors work great for that -
I also cut out the word Birthday 3x's to make it "pop" more

-- Supplies used to create these cards --

Cardstock - Stampin' Up, Bazzill
Designer Paper - Carina Gardner (Fresh Picked Summer) &
Carta Bella (Well Traveled)
Stitched Card Mat - My Creative Time
"Birthday" Word Die - Jaded Blossom
Cursve "Wishes" Stamp - My Pink Stamper
Reg. "Wishes" Stamp - Stamps of Life
Jute Twine & Button - Papertrey Ink
Bitty Sparkle Gems - CTMH
Misti Tool, Big Shot, Memento Espresso Truffle Ink, Tuxedo Black
Glitter - Silhouette America (2 shades of blue)

Last Valentine.....

Hello & Happy Tuesday Everyone!
Happy, Happy Valentine's Day to ya! 💝
Do you do something special for Valentine's Day?
Or do you see it as just another day?
Me?
I do something extra special for my kids & hubby...
Like for breakfast we either have Valentine's Day Donuts
or I make a special breakfast - If I don't make a special breakfast
I tend to make a special dinner with dessert. I always give my
boys Valentine's candy & a sweet card -
This year I have yummy donuts for breakfast & I'm making
Shrimp & Lobster for dinner! Way cheaper than eating out! 😂
I also made some yummy blueberry cookies for dessert...

My son that's in the military got a Valentine's card & I baked
him some pan cookies to share with his buddies -
Hopefully he'll get it soon - they (USPS) sent it to Chicago?
It was suppose to go to CA. which is only 2 states away from me -
So the base could send it to him in Japan - So I'm a bit
disappointed in that 😒 Luckily I used my Food Saver on them
so hopefully they'll still be fresh when he does get them....
We did a couple of "TEST" runs on how long his packages
would take to get too him - & it was 7 days - but since the Post Office
screwed up this package - it'll take longer now... UGH 😬

Anyway--

Since it is the day of LOOOVE... tehehehe I thought
I would share my monthly Card Swap card -
We were told to make either a Wedding/Anniversary/Love card
using Mojo Monday Sketch #287

-- I chose to make a Love card --

Isn't this the sweetest card? Well... I think so anyway! LOL

I used my silhouette program & a digital Paper collection
from SheryK designs called Sweet Owl

-- Other Craft Supplies Used --

Cardstock - Stampin' Up, Bazzill
2" Stitched Circle Die - Simon Says Stamp
Stitched Card Mat Die - My Favorite Things
4" Doily Piece - Walton
Clear wink of Stella glitter pen on the word Love & Flower
Nuvo Glitter Drops - Pink Champagne & Silver Moondust

Now I have 4 new ones I've added to my Collection!

This one is a Shaker Magnet! I purchased the adorable
Queen & Co. Valentine's Shaker Bundle and
thought I could have some fun
with a Shaker on the fridge! Everything is from the kit except
the sentiment which is from Studio G

This one is sooo CUTE!! I saw the Doodlebug SVG file in
the Silhouette Store & HAD to turn it into a fun magnet!
The "Love You" Sentiment is from Your Next Stamp &
the "A Latte" sentiment is from Jaded Blossom
I used some Clear wink of Stella, Bitty Clear gems from CTMH
Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine for the bow

I so LOVE the Squardy Cat SVG files from SVGCutting files
and thought this one would make an adorable Valentine's magnet!
I used some Clear wink of Stella, Peppermint stick Trendy Twine
for the bow, White Tulle for the sucker's bow, the sentiment is
from My Craft Spot (no longer available)

Yup! I made another FUN Shaker magnet! This time I used some
Distress inks! :) I used Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry, &
Ripe Persimmon. The Fun word die is from Ebay! Cuts out Perfectly!
The Sequins is from Queen & Co, My Craft Spot, & CDD, The dimensionals I used for this shaker came from Stampin' Up - adhesive strips - They work PERFECTLY for Shakers! :)
