Buzzing by Birthday...

Hello and Happy Friday Fellow Crafters
It's the weekend!! YESSS!!!
That means I'm already on my way to my
sister's house for a nice visit!! I'm totally
looking forward to hanging with my sister and
my nieces - They are so much fun to be around!

All this week I've been showcasing some digital stamps
I got from my Awesome crafty friend Jessica over at:

I hope you've gone to check out her store or maybe even bought
a couple of her Digi's - They really are wonderful and
you can mix and match them (which is what I like to do!)

Here's a sweet Buzzing Birthday card I created -

Isn't this just the cutest little bee!!!

I'm using the Bee Hoppy digital stamp set for the background and the
sweet Bumble Bee/Flowers -
I'm using the Good Morning Spring Digital
Stamp set for my Birthday Sentiment -
The "Hello" sentiment is from the
It's your Day Digital Stamp set and
the (Heart) is from the
Winter Bear Digital Stamp set - SEE - Very easy to use lots
of her Digi's on one project!!! LOVE THAT!!

Because the Bee has bunny ears & a basket I had to
enlarged my flower to cover up the ears and covered up the basket
by adding the heart to the front of it -

I thought I would share the inside of my card -
So you can see how I created it as well -
After I made my bee, I shrunk it down so I can add the
same elements to the inside of my card - I did the same for the
hexagon shapes -

I colored everything with my Alcohol markers -
I used some clear adhesive gems, Fun Foam,
a banner die, and a stitched rectangle Frame die -
My bees & Flower image were all Die cut out with my Scan N Cut Machine

I'm Entering the following Challenges:

Jo's Scrap Shack - Anything Goes
Cut it Up Challenge - Birthdays
Die Cuttin Divas - Tic-Tac-Toe
I'm using Gems, an Insect, & Digital Stamping as my Technique

Sending Smiles....

Hello and Happy Thursday Wonderful Crafters!
I hope your week has been going well so far -
Mine has been busy with work and preparing for
my trip tomorrow with my Sister - (I can't wait) :)

All this week I'm showcasing some digital stamps
I got from my Awesome crafty friend Jessica over at:

She's been working hard at making new digi's and I just think
they're wonderful!

Here's a sweet Springtime card I made --

Even though it's the end of May (Can you believe it?)
And it's like 95 degrees outside for me - it's still
technically Spring until June 20th - So I had to
throw in another Springtime card for ya!

I'm using the Bee Hoppy digital stamp set
for the background image and I'm using the
Springtime Smiles Digital stamp set for my sentiment

I created a simple rectangle border around my image and lightly
colored it with some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink
Then colored my images in with some Alcohol Markers
I used a Stitched Frame die to add some character and then
added some clear tiny gems on some of the flowers -
Popped the card front up with some Fun Foam and
placed it on a yellow card base -

Spread your wings birthday...

Hello and Happy Wednesday Wonderful Crafters!
We are 1/2 way through the week already and
I can't wait for Friday to come! :)

All this week I'm showcasing some digital stamps
I got from my Awesome crafty friend Jessica over at:

She's been working hard at making new digi's and I just think
they're wonderful!

Here's a set of cards I created recently --

As you guys know... I work at an Elementary School - So I always
have to have Birthday & Thank You cards on hand at ALL times for
the Teachers & staff - They are my most requested cards! :)

I'm using the Spread your wings digital stamp set
for the lovely Bird images and the Happy Birthday Sentiment

On this card, I'm using the Good Morning Spring Digital Stamp set
for the Thank You Sentiment

The background design I created in my Silhouette program using the
Rondelle Digital Collection by Prima -
I sprayed both card fronts with some Acrylic Sealer and added
Fun foam to the backs for added Dimension -
I Popped up the lovely birds and colored them in with some
Alcohol markers and finished off my card with some tiny clear gems

I just LOVE the colors on these cards ---

Listen to the wind...

Hello and Happy Tuesday Crafty Peeps!
How was your Memorial Day Weekend?
Mine was wonderful, just chillin' here at home!

All this week I'm going to be showcasing some digital stamps
I got from my Awesome crafty friend Jessica over at:

She's been working hard at making new digi's and she was one
of the Super Sponsors for the Coffee Lover's hop -

Here's another one of the cards I created recently --

I'm using  The Way of Beauty digital stamp set

I printed the lovely sentiment out on some vellum
and added some Doodlebug enamel hearts & tiny Clear Gems

The Watercolored Heart background is from the Silhouette Store (#247279)
and I printed that on some Neenah Solar White Cardstock and
sprayed it with my Acrylic spray - Then I attached the vellum
to the top of it - I used some Fun Foam for Dimension before
placing it onto my Black Card base -

I really like the Sentiment on this card... it's so pretty

town every once in a while! (wink wink)

I got from my Awesome crafty friend Jessica over at:

She's been working hard at making new digi's and she was one

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty Peeps!
Tomorrow is our Last day of School!
Can you believe it? I can't! I'll get a small break then
back to work I go, but this time without the little ones
running around! As you can imagine it's easier to keep
things clean while they're out for the Summer! LOL

I'm hoping to squeeze in a couple of breaks throughout
the Summer too if I can since I'm just cleaning classrooms this year!
Or at least that's my plan anyway!! (Wink Wink)

My Baby Hunter turned 16 a couple of weeks ago...
I can't believe he's 16 already! Where did the time go???

He also got his License! WHAT??
I'm so proud of that young man!
So I thought I would share the card I created
for his birthday - He really liked how it came out!

Isn't this Fun & Cool???
Perfect for that Gamer you know!
I'm using the awesome Echo Park Digital Collection called:
GAME ON

I wanted to show you the Clear Gloss I added to the controller -
I wanted it to stand out just a tad!
The Simple (HB2U) Stamp is from Craftin Desert Divas

I also thought you might like to see how I dressed up the inside of his card -
I can't remember which stamps I used for the inside -
But I like all the colors - :)
