Pretty Flower Pot......

Hello and Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!
Mine involved a personal emergency and cleaning... My Son Juston who
actually graduated HS early, is going to do his Graduation Ceremony on
Wednesday, and I really needed to get my house cleaned cuz we have some
family coming in for his special day. So super excited for him! :o)
The personal emergency involved my mom... She's OK.... But she
woke up in severe pain Saturday morning. So I had to rush her to
the hospital. They ran lots of tests and we spent a very long
day there, but they found what the problem was thank goodness,
and it wasn't life threatening... She's resting and taking the meds the
Doctor prescribe, so all is right with the world again! :o)

Here's a card I made to share with you this week.....

I made this card for my Mom for Mother's Day...
I've always wanted to make a Flower pot card....
And Thanks to my Silhouette I Can!!!

I designed the inside shape, cuz the card didn't
have that available, so I created my own... Printed the sentiment
then Cut it out with my Silhouette...

I used: My Mind's Eye Designer Paper
Bo Bunny Double Dots
Doodlebug Designs Gems
Baker's Twine
Button, Stamp, & Ink from Stampin' Up

My Mom LOVED her card! So did I! LOL

Thanks for stopping by! Have a Fabulous week
and an AWESOME DAY!!!

Mother's Day card Doily....

Happy Monday Morning everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous
Mother's day weekend! I know I sure did! We closed the store on Saturday
and I took my mom out to lunch in Cahone, CO. It's a lovely little restaurant
that most people might overlook in that tiny town... But I happen to meet the
owner one day... She came into my store and bought some items and saw
my cards there and said they were amazing, the she asked
me if she could  sell some of my cards in her gift shop/restaurant...
I was honored she asked me and so I decided to go check out her place....
It's really cute and she has a country farm theme going on....
The food was yummy! She makes homemade ice cream and deserts
which we all had! LOL It's got a nice "down home" feel and my mom enjoyed it.
Which, is really all that matters.... right?  Then my hubby surprised me
by ordering pizza for dinner that night.... YUMMY again! My oldest son
surprised me with some BEAUTIFUL Flowers and Balloons.... Then
on Sunday morning (I always make breakfast) my middle son Made
me my favorite breakfast (French Toast & Bacon) Yummy! :o)
My youngest son baked me a cake and my oldest made us
Spaghetti for dinner.... So it was a wonderful weekend where I
didn't cook anything at all! That's a first! LOL But it was really
sweet and nice of them to do! I was planning on crafting but
didn't do any.... But I did shop online! That's always fun IMO! :o)

Now that I've rambled on about my weekend... let me share a
cards I made that was inspired by a Stampin' Up card kit....
I used my wonderful cutting machine (Silhouette) to create it....

I sent this card to my Mother in Law....
I used Stampin' Up's digital paper that I
added it to my Silhouette library....
I made a 4 x 5 1/4 rectangle & 2 1/2 x 4 3/4 shape
then filled it with the SU digi paper....

Then I got a BEAUTIFUL (Samantha Walker) Doily &
a Dress form from the Silhouette store and filled
them both with SU digi paper....

Got a tag from the Silhouette store too and typed
out Happy Mother's Day....

I let my printer print out all the images on a 12x12 piece of
white card stock, then put it in my Silhouette,
where everything cut out so beautifully....
I added the crochet ribbon, cut out a flower from my SU flower ribbon,
used some twine to tie the tag... and inked a little here and there...
and BAM! I made a lovely card for my MIL... Which she LOVED! :o)

Well, that's all I have for today! I hope you all have a
wonderful week and have an AWESOME DAY!!!!

It's me..... MARIO!!!

Good Morning Everyone! I hope your weekend was great and
that your week is off to an AWESOME start! My weekend
was busy! MY oldest turned 20 on Tuesday last week then my
youngest turn 10 on Saturday. I threw him a sleep over Birthday
Party on Friday night with 8 of his closest friends! I can tell ya
that after the night was over.... I was EXHAUSTED! Boy....
a house full of little boys can wear a person down! LOL
All the boys had a BLAST! and the theme was MARIO!
So they got to play Wii games all night long and I had lots
of sugary goodies for the occasion...
So I thought today I would post the picture of the CUTE
banner I made for his party....

First off.... This is the very first banner I've EVER MADE!
Seriously! I've never made a banner before....

And I did it in 1 hours time! SERIOUSLY! 1 hour is all
it took me to make this!

I looked online for Mario Pictures and saved
them to my computer.... Then I imported them into my Silhouette
I used a couple different banner parts from
different banners I have in my Silhouette Library.....

I used Echo Parks Boy Digi Paper to fill in the
Banner pieces and let my printer and Machine
do all the work! Once it was done I just
put all the pieces together, then strung it up
using Baker's Twine! And BAM!
A CUTE Banner with my sons name on it, with
some of his favorite Characters!

I also created these Rosettes using my Silhouette and the
same images I got from the Internet....

There really wasn't mush around for "Mario" stuff...
At least where I live, and since I work all the time,
I really didn't have a lot of time to plan his party...
Soooo I improvised by using my Silhouette and images off
the Internet to create a simple, yet fun set up for my sons
Birthday party! Hunter LOVED everything I made for him...
Which is really ALL that matters! :o)

Thanks for letting me share my son's birthday
elements with you! Enjoy the rest of the week
and have an AWESOME DAY!!!!
