Bounty Season.....

Hello and Happy Thursday Everyone! I can't believe the
week is just about over! YEA!!! Of course I need to go do
my Monthly grocery shopping.... UGH! Not my favorite thing
to do.... but I guess we gotta eat! Right? LOL BY the looks
of this weeks cards.... you can tell I'm in Full HOLIDAY MODE!
I got Halloween, Christmas and today's card Thanksgiving!
Have I told ya that Fall is my favorite season! LOL
I guess I like it so much because of these 3 wonderful holidays! :o)
And of course the COLORS! My Favorite Colors of all time!
Well.... Next to BLUE! LOL Today's card was made
without my Cricut! I can hear all the gasping! :O)
It's a Hybrid Card.... I used My Digital Studio from
Stampin' UP and my regular crafting supplies....

Border Punch - Fiskars
Photo Paper - Canon
Twine - Papertrey Ink
Leaf Charms - Oriental Trading
Sentiment - (Bountiful Blessings) Pink By Design
Everything else is Stampin' Up!
I designed all the elements in My Design Studio
and then printed it out on Photo Paper
Then I added the Border Punch and Green Dotted paper
added the twine & Leaves
Attached it to the Card stock... then added
the sentiment using a Stampin' Up Punch....
The longest part was creating the design....
I change my mind A LOT & trying to get the
sizing I want.... Other wise a fairly easy card
to put together! :o)

Well that's it for me this week! Thanks for stopping
by and I hope all of you have an AWESOME Week/Weekend!!!

Hunter's Art Project...

Hello and Happy Wednesday everyone! The week is 1/2 over!
I'm really excited to share Hunter's card with you today!
He worked really hard on it and even though I would
have inked everything he chose not to...  So of course I
went with the flow of it since it is his card! I gotta
tell ya though.... He is certainly a future card maker....
I was really surprised as to how much he wanted to
add to it.... It reminded me of.... ME! LOL
I would show you his sketch that started this
whole thing but we scribbled all over the paper so
I didn't want to share our messy process with ya! LOL
Last week we spent time cutting out all the pieces and
at one point Hunter says to me.... MOM... Are we done yet?
I look at him and say... you didn't think this was gonna
be a fast project did you? Of course his reply was YES!
I had to laugh because he did add a lot of pieces which
take time to cut out... Especially since he had to pick
the colors to go with the card! I let him go play at
the very end of cutting when I needed to re-cut some
of the leaves... :o) Any whoo.... Enough about all of that...
Here is my little guys Card Creation!!!!

Is this not the coolest card from an 8yr. old?
I swear it's something I would do! Maybe that's
why he created it that way? I don't know... All I know is
he's got a pretty good start in crafting if you ask me! :o)
I have to confess though.... I had to ink something cause it
was driving me crazy soooo I did ink around the sun...
but that's it! He stamped the face and did all the other stuff...
So here are all the details:
Card stock, Ink - Stampin' Up
Designer paper - (Sky) Imagine Hopscotch Cartridge
He used Bo Bunny Double Dot Paper for all the cuts!
Cartridges - (Leaves) Straight from the nest Cut @ 3/4", 1", 1 1/2"
(Tree) Serenade Cut @ 4"
(Basket) Doodlecharms Cut @ 1 1/2" (2x's)
(Grass) Zooballo Cut @ 1"
(Sun) Art Philosophy Cut @ 2"
(Squirrel & Nut) Enjoy the Seasons Cut @ 3" We used
the "Flip" button and the "Separate"  just to get the squirrel and nut
(Nuts only) Cut @ 2" using the "Separate" and just cutting those out
He also wanted a "Hole" in the tree were the squirrel lives so he
made an oval shape using a black zig pen......

He followed his sketch really well and all I did was add adhesive
and he put everything where he wanted it to go... And the only
reason I put the adhesive on is because he had a hard time
trying to use my Therm-o-web runner... So I told him I would
add the adhesive to all of his pieces and put it off to the side
so he can place everything were he wanted it to go...
And when he was all finished he had to
come show me what he did.... and of course I HAD to take a picture of it
and I said you get an A+ for this project! Thanks for letting me
share my sons project! I'll be back tomorrow with something
I CREATED! :o) Have an AWESOME DAY!!

We are putting this into the Challenge over at:
(Make a fall card using red, orange, yellow, brown, green)

sooo chilly and rainy and sad really! I've been wearing my winter

Hello Series continues.....

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all
had a FABULOUS weekend! I know I sure did!
I told ya I was gonna go and surprise my son at
College this weekend... Well it was an interesting surprise...
I called him about an hour before we were suppose to arrive....
And he tells me I'm just doing homework today and I can't go
anywhere so I'll be here! I said well enjoy your day doing
homework here's my new cell info.... He says thanks and I hang up!
Soooo we get there.... and I'm looking forward to surprising him and
I knock on his door and.... NO ANSWER! Sooo I knock again....
NO ANSWER! UUGH! WHAT the HECK??? Soooo I have my
other son call him and ask where he is? and his reply is.... I'm
on my way to Richfield... WHAT? So I grab the phone and I
ask where are you right now? and he says he's about 30 minutes
away.... and I say well we are here at your place where you said you'll
be all day! And he was like WHAT? I also say... by the way we
brought you a CAR! HE says WHAT? and then I hang up!
I hung up because he acted like I inconvenienced him by coming....
Although he said he was not doing anything but homework all day...
SO, I was a little upset.... then I call him back and say are you turning around?
and he says... Can't you meet me here? I'm Like are you flipping CRAZY?
We just drove over 4 hours and I gotta go to the bathroom and your not even
here! And we are hungry! Soooo NOOO I'm not coming to you.... Why don't
you just drive back here? Soooo the person he's going on this trip with
is told "I owe you one man"... "Take me back"... Soooo he tells me how long it
would be and I said fine, we're going to go eat.... He calls me after a little
while and says he's home... I said GOOD Stay there! LOL After we eat....
we head on over to his place and he's all MAD... And says to me... If you
would have told me you were coming I would never have left... I say....
IT'S NOT A SURPRISE IF I TOLD YOU!!!! GEEZ! LOL Sooo
we show him the car and he's not as upset anymore and I show him
all the goodies I brought him.... I baked him Banana bread and Pan cookies
and made him some enchiladas and brought some groceries.... Then
we talked for a little while and I took him to wally world to get him some
other things that he needed... And so if turned out nice after all.... I did
enjoy the visit... BAD Start but a wonderful ending! :o) Soooo that's
how my trip turned out! Now here's one of the "HELLO SERIES" cards!

I used my Imagine for this lovely card!

Card stock, Ribbon - Stampin' Up

(Hello Circle) Cut @ 3" (2x's)
Red Designer Paper Cut @ 5 1/4 x 4

Hello Card Series #8...

Hello and Happy Thursday everyone! I can't believe
we are already at the end of the week! I think I say
that every week! But it's so true... the weeks keep
flying by and there's nooo looking back! I actually have
an exciting weekend coming up! I was suppose to
attend my monthly Crop til ya drop, but.... I am going
to go visit my son up at school! You know my College
boy! :o) Remember when I told ya his car caught on fire
and sort of blew up! Well we could not get that thing fixed
so we sold it and got him a new car! Well not NEW per say....
But new to him since he doesn't have a car at all! LOL
We were able to get a good deal on one and fixed the couple
minor issues on it and it runs great and I can't wait to
surprise him with it. I know it will help him out a lot!
So that's what I'll be doing this weekend! Noooo Crafting! :o)
Any whoo... Here's today's card! :o)

#8) Card stock, Ink - Stampin' Up
ALL the Designer Paper - Better Together Imagine Cartridge
I used the Cricut Craft room to design this card
Shockingly enough... it actually cut out all my images
That's never happen to me before... usually it prints the
images but NEVER cuts! So CCR is getting closer to
getting better! :o) Here's the recipe:
Using the Better Together Cartridge -
Shape in Red (4 x 3.194)
Lt. Blue Designer Background (4 x 5 1/4)
Yellow Shadow Trim (4 x 0.819)
Colored Trim (4 x 0.681)

Sooo to start the new team off ... Here is our Challenge!!!
Things That Go Bump In The Night!” Make a card for Halloween
with the spookiest, scariest image you can find on any cartridge(s),
and using any colors you’d like.

I don't necessarily think mine is the scariest Challenge card...
but I do like how it turned out! I designed it in my
Design Studio then saved it to my gypsy for cutting....

Designer Paper - DCWV (Midnight Spell Stack)
Martha Stewart Fence Border Punch
Tim Holtz Brick Embossing Folder
I used Bo Bunny Dot Paper for ALL the cuts

making more of those? I think it's great to use
when you want to add a lot of things on your card...

Hello Series #6 & #7.....

Hello and Happy Tuesday Everyone! How's your week
going so far? Mine isn't to bad! I'm not feeling
like making cards again..... I don't know why... I know
I need to get some made but I'm just not feeling it....
What to do? What to do? I've even try looking at
some inspiration and saying ohhh.... pretty...
I need to make something like that.... But then I got
NOTHING! UUGH! I guess I better find some
craftiness somewhere or else I'll go crazy! :o)
Here are my 2 cards for today! :o)

#6) This sweet little birdy card is a Hybrid Card!
It's ALL Stampin' Up! I actually designed this card
a really looong time ago (like Last Year) But never
printed it out! Actually my youngest son helped
me to create this at that time... I was showing him my
program and he thought it was cool so we created this
together! It's nice to finally see it printed out!
I added the Pink Ribbon and Popped up the
"Hello"! The image was printed on Photo paper
to add some shine... :o)

#7) I designed this from a sketch I seen in the
New Card Ideas for Paper Crafters Magazine!
I used my Imagine to create all the Designer Papers
Card stock, Ink, Stamp - Stampin' Up
Top Note small shape - McGill Punch
Designer Paper - Lori's Garden Imagine Cartridge
Cartridges - Art Philosophy (Center Shape) Cut @ 3"
Sophie (Bird/Cage) Cut @ 2 1/4"

Hello and Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all
had a Fabulous weekend! I know I did! I mean I didn't
do all that much which I think was the reason it
was so Fabulous! LOL Today I'm gonna show you
2 of my cards in the Hello series.... I realize it will
take FOREVER to show you all of the cards.... So I figure
2 at a time will speed up the process so we can move
on to other fun cards! :o) Here's Cards #4 & #5!

#4) Another Quick and Simple Hello Card!
I made this one using my Imagine!
Card stock - Stampin' Up & American Crafts
Cartridges - Imagine More Cards (Floral Designer Paper)
Cut @ 5 x 3 3/4"
(Butterflies) Cut @ 1 3/4" (2x's)
Beyond Birthdays (Hello Friend) Cut @ 1 1/2" w/ shadow

It's also a Hybrid card! Everything is Stampin' Up
I cut very thing out of regular paper and card stock

using My Digital Studio and printed on Photo Paper.

"Hello" series Card #3....

Hello and Happy Thursday Everyone! We are almost
through the week already! YEAAA!!! I LOVE
short weeks! I just found out my Sweet MIL is in
the Hospital! Over the past 5yrs. she has been
in and out of them.... And her health is so-so...
She was walking down the hall at her house when
she fell and I guess did enough damage to
require a hospital stay. I don't know all the details
for sure cause My hubby isn't all that good at telling
what happen. Her Daughter was up visiting from Texas
and called while I was out. So All I know for sure is that
she was hurt badly enough to be sent to the hospital and
that she will be there for a few days, then off to a
rehab center for a little bit longer. She has fallen so many
times that I just feel terrible for her. She is one of the
feistiest people I know and that's what I LOVE most about her!
Here is one of the "HELLO" Cards I made for her...

I created this card from a sketch I seen in the brand new issue
of the Paper Crafts "Card Ideas" for paper crafters...
They have some FABULOUS sketches in that book!
The creations are wonderful too but I prefer using the
sketches they have in it!  :o) Let me tell ya how
I created this quick and simple card!

Card stock - Stampin' Up
Designer paper - MME (Hattie)
Cartridge - Elegant Edges
I use the "Frames" on pg. 23 in the book...
It was cut @ 1" & 1 1/2"
Then I used the "Frames" on pg. 59 in the book...
It was cut @ 1" & 1 1/2"
Then I used the "Frames" on pg. 65 in the book....
It was cut @ 1" & 1 1/2"
Lacey Labels - "Hello" Cut @ 3 1/2"

I really like how this card turned out!
I think it's the colors and the paper I like
the best! Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment!
I LOVE reading them... Have an AWESOME Week/Weekend!!

"Hello" Series Card #2

Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone! I hope you are
all ready for the short work week! My son loves it cause
he only has 3 days of school! With homeschooling we can
pick our own hours for school work.... So we take Fridays
off every week and work a little longer M-Th. Since it's
a short week we'll work a couple extra hours T, W, Th and take
Friday off! We both really like our new schedule and it fits us!
We decided to change our art program too... We will be
making things with my cricut! I have several different ones,
so he'll get to use one of my expressions for his art projects...
We've already discussed him making a Fall card! He even
did a sketch, so when we have art class he can
recreate it! When he gets it made I'll post it for you
guys to see! OK.... Enough chit chat... here's my card! :o)

This is a Hybrid card! I used My Digital Studio
from Stampin' Up on the center piece and printed it
on Canon Photo paper.... I printed out the
Striped Designer paper too.... It's also
from Stampin' Up.... The Orange Ribbon &
Pink Mini brad are from Stampin' Up....
The Flower I made using the
Mother's Day Bouquet Cartridge!
I cut the flowers @ 2", 1 3/4", 1 1/2", 1"

Here's a closer look at the flower I made...
I did ink the edges to give it some depth....
Quick and simple! Thanks for stopping by!
Have an AWESOME DAY!!
