Hello and Happy Wednesday everyone! Well...
Today is a big day! Why you ask? Well let me tell ya....
It's Challenge day over at
and this is my very last Design Team card for them!
Yesss... I'm very sad about it....
It has been a very long and hard decision on my
part... I LOVED designing for Mary and working with an
AWESOME Design Team... I will miss everyone
terribly! Soooo, let's get on with the challenge today!

"Tis the Season" Make a Christmas Card using
the "CARD" Feature from any cartridge!

I also have some more sad news to share....
This will be my last blog post. For how long?
I honestly don't know.... I've made it no
secret that work has been really busy, and
it's been very difficult for me to do the million
and 1 things I have to do daily... Soooo, after
lots of soul searching.... I decided to stop blogging
for awhile.... I mean... really... I haven't been fair to
my blog or my wonderful blogging friends.... SO
for the time being... I will no longer be posting
on this site... Now I did speak with my sister about
all of this and she said she would do her best
to continue the blog and posting.... But as for me...
It will probably be a long time before I can get back
to blogging... If I get any free time, I will still try
to visit my blogging friends... I just hope you all
understand why I'm doing this, and this decision
was not easy for me to make... But I gotta do what's
best for me & my family right now.... and this is it!

I will miss everyone dearly, and I can't
THANK YOU
enough for supporting me and this blog!
I wish everyone a Wonderful
Christmas & a Blessed New Year!

Have an AWESOME day!!!!

Speaking of Christmas CC # 121

Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone! Sorry I've been MIA Again!
I've been soooo busy at the store, trying to prepare for Black Friday!
This is my very first Black Friday as a store owner... so I'm trying to
get as much stuff out as possible for my customers.... we've actually
been really busy already and I'm thrilled with all the shopping going
on at my store... But with shopping goes a lot more work on my part...
We've been getting donations daily... and not 1 or 2 bags either... lots
and lots of them... So I'm trying really hard to keep up with that and
price & put out ALL my holiday stuff.... I bought new shelves to use
for the large amount of Christmas items I have.... Sooo... I've just been
a busy little bee! I'm actually going to have the next several days off, so
hopefully I'll have some free time to go visit all my blogging friends that
I've been neglecting! :o)
I'm sure you didn't come here to hear about my busy work life...

Rock-a-bye baby....

Hello and Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a
fabulous weekend! Mine was kind of boring.... I made 2 loaves
of bread and got my DT cards done and then I was suppose to
work on Christmas cards cuz I'm going to the crop til ya drop
this Friday... And well.... I just didn't make anything! NOTHING!!!
What the heck am I suppose to take with me to an all niter crop?
I started to work with my silhouette and then I was having trouble with
my mouse... or maybe it was me.... I kept clicking on something I wanted
to do then it would click to something else... I was like WHAT???
So after lots of frustration I said forget it... and I stopped... Then I realized
I was low on ink for my printer, so I couldn't design anything in
My digital Studio.... Remember I don't live in or near a big city, so I
can't just run to the store when I run out of something.... :o(
So today I'm off from work too and I just don't feel like making
anything... I guess I'm going to the crop to chat all night long....
Not that that's a bad thing either.... but I was really hoping to start
on some Christmas cards.... Oh well... maybe next year! LOL
I do have a card for ya today..... :o)

I created this card before I went on my trip....
I used My Digital Studio (from Stampin' Up)
and my Cameo.... Added some Bakers Twine and
popped up the scallop & boat and there ya go.... :o)

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have an
AWESOME DAY!!!!

Thank Ewe...

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all
had a wonderful weekend! Mine was busy with crafting
and baking.... I honestly don't know how the women back
in the day could stand to be in the kitchen ALL DAY LONG!
I do it every Sunday and man... it's EXHAUSTING! :o)
Well, today I have a card to show ya....

A friend of mine asked me to make her
some thank you cards. Her children give them
out to the people who purchase their animals
during the county fair. She asked me
right before I was leaving on my trip...
So, this is what I created....

I made her some last year as well...
that card can be seen HERE!

She told me I could make the same
card as last year, but I like to change it up
a little... I didn't change the sheep cuz
she told me she really likes this cut.... :o)

Any way... Thanks for stopping by
& taking a look! :o)
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Halloween Birthday Gift!

Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone! Heck....
HAPPY HALLOWEEN to you! :o) Today is a very
special day for one of my very special friends! She
was born on Halloween! What a surprise that must
have been to her parents! LOL Any way... I've told ya
that I needed to get something made for her and I had
pretty much 1 day to do it in..... I know, I know... Terrible
friend! It's NOT like I didn't know when her birthday was...
It's totally easy to remember! Or so you'd think! LOL
Well, since I only had so much time to do it in
here is what I created for her....

I had this can and said to myself... self
you could totally make something out of this can
which is how this whole thing got started! LOL
(Bear Cut @ 6")

My Friend LOVES, LOVES, LOVES
Create a Critter sooo, that's what inspired
me to design this with that in mind! I told her
I had gotten this cartridge (Create a Critter 2)
and it's on her list of cartridges to get,
so I thought it would be
fun to cut out some of the animals and put them
on the can for her.... The inside is filled
with crafting stuff...
(Owl cut @ 6")

Of course it turned out a little
differently than what I had in mind...
But since time really wasn't on my side
I just went with it.... :o)
(Turtle Cut @ 6")

I added gems, stickles, ribbon, twine,
googlie eyes, action wobbles to all of them
(Bee cut @ 6")

Designer paper is DCWV, I used 2 12x12 sheets
to cover the entire can & lid..... I added some
ribbon as the border around the top & bottom
of the can, which now I'm not sure why I did???
(Ghost cut @ 4")

Then, I HAD to make her a card to go
along with what I started.... The card is
cut from my Cameo, so are the words....
The Spider is from Create a Critter 2
Cut @ 2 3/4"

I HAD to fancy up the inside a little
for my girlfriend... She's totally worth
doing the inside of a card! :o) The Monster
was cut @ 2 3/4" , the stamp is from
My Creative Time... The inside saying is
from my Hallmark program....

Well, let's hope she likes it! Thanks so
much for stopping by and seeing what I
created for my friend! I hope everyone has
a SAFE & HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!

Trick or Tweet!!!

Hello and Happy Tuesday Everyone! What... 2 days in a row I'm posting????
What's wrong with me? Well.. let's see... Halloween is TOMORROW already!
and I really haven't made hardly any Halloween cards this year.... That's totally
unusual for me! But I've had a busy month, so that's my excuse... :o) And since
tomorrow is Halloween, I thought I would share my last 2 creations with you,
before November 1st! :O) Yesterday I showed you my card for my September
Monthly card swap. Sooo now I thought I would show ya October's card
for our monthly card swap... We were to make a card for Fall/
Halloween/ or Thanksgiving... Here's mine...

I tried several times to get a good photo, but for
some strange reason, this card did not want it's
picture take! UGH! Sorry about that! Any who...

The moon was cut with Bazzill shimmer CS and then
I embossed it with the Cuttlebug Swirls Folder....
I flood filled the tree/fence with some designer
paper in my Cameo program, printed it out and let my
Cameo do the rest! The dotted designer paper is from
DCWV.... And the Tweety is a print design from
my cameo as well.... I printed & cut Tweety out
2x's and popped him up on the fence....
I created the tag myself and used an eyelet &
some bakers twine to tie it together.... The stamp is
from My Craft Spot..... I inked around all the edges.....

Well that's all I have for today! Come back tomorrow
to see the project I made for my girlfriend whose
Birthday is on HALLOWEEN!!!! Yesss... I got it all
done yesterday... I had the day off, so it was a MUST! :o)

Thanks sooo much for stopping by....
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!!

Book print Butterfly....

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Remember in my last post I said I had ALL day Saturday to create... Well
I spent ALL day trying to make 1 thing! UGH!!! I mean I had to make 12 of
them, but it was 1 design! Go figure... Of course I took some time out to hang
with my family too, so that was some of it, then I stopped working on the card
set and started to read a book on my new Kindle Fire HD! Which I'm now in
LOVE with! It's my Christmas present to me from me! I'm so nice! LOL
I also got one for my hubby! I bought him the original kindle fire last year for
Christmas and he loved it and so did I... I've been wanting one ever since I got
him his! Then Amazon came out with the New Kindle Fire HD and WOW!!! I sooo
love it more than the other one! :o) Since we both got one, we decided to give
my youngest my hubby's old one... I got him a new green case for it... (Green's
his favorite color) so were gonna surprise him with it for Christmas along with
some other things he asked for.... :o) I know, I know... you're saying
THERESA we haven't even had Halloween yet
and you're talking about CHRISTMAS ALREADY!!! UGH!
YESSS.... I am! You know it'll be here before you know it
and I like to be on top of things when possible! So yes
I've already started shopping! BUT.... I haven't started on my
Christmas cards yet! GO FIGURE!!!! LOL
As of today, I'm working on a Birthday project for a
friend of mine, who's birthday is on HALLOWEEN!!!
Soooo, I've got pretty much 1 day to get it done! LOL
An idea came to me to Sunday afternoon while I was
baking bread and making dessert for dinner... So I
didn't have lots of time to work on it last night, so
hopefully today I can... ;o) Otherwise she's
getting flowers? Or something like that.... :o)
OK.... here's a card I made before I went on vacation...

I made this for our Sept. Card swap... Just never got
around to taking the pictures....

I used My Digital Studio to design it
Then I printed out all the elements
Then used my Cameo to cut out all the pieces...
Added some tulle ribbon and stamped
Happy Birthday, and there ya go! :o)

Well, that's it for me today! Wish me luck at
getting a gift done for my friend..... If I do,
I'll try and get a picture to show ya what
I made! Thanks so much for stopping by!
HAVE AN AWESOME DAY!!!

Lots to tell ya!!!

Hello and Happy Sunday Everyone! I'm so sorry that I've been gone awhile....
I've been sooo busy lately
that I just haven't had time to visit blogs or craft!
I showed you one of the reasons last week with
the crate I made for a friend of mine....
Then I had 3 friends with
birthdays, so I HAD to create something for them...

I've also been learning how to make bread!
I know some of you would say....
Geez Theresa.... It's EASY! Go to the store....
Buy a loaf.... And BAM you've got bread! LOL
But I thought I would try the old fashion way.....
By making it from scratch! I've made several loaves
already, but they really haven't come out the way that I want...
So I'm gonna keep practicing until
I get it just right! Then... maybe I'll post that for ya!

I've been working a lot because my moms on vacation....
I'm training a couple of friends of mine to help take care
of my store.... WHY? Well.... My husband & I  are
getting ready to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary!  We're going on a trip!
We've been planning this for awhile now and it's
about to happen any day now, so I've just been
really busy trying to get as much done before we leave.....
I'm soooo super excited and can't wait to go....
And thought I should share my happy news with you....
as to why I've been gone so long.... :o) I won't be back until
mid October..... Soooo... I thought I would post something
for you today.... :o)

These are little bags I made for
2 of my friends who had a birthday!
1 is filled with scrapping supplies while the
other is filled with cards! I also baked a cake
for another friend of mine..... Busy, busy, busy!
I used Tags, Bags, Boxes & more for them....
I also used Tim Holtz Rosette Dies.....

I made this using My Digital Studio &
My Silhouette!
I designed it first in MDS then I transferred
the files over to the Silhouette and it
printed then cut out the pieces for me!
I thought it turned out to be a great
masculine card! :o)

Well.... that's all I have for today!! I've been thinking
about all my blogging friends lately & how much I miss going to your blogs to see your wonderful creations.... :o)
Once I get back... I'll be able to do that again!
Enjoy the rest of your Afternoon and I'll see
ya in a couple of weeks!
HAVE AN AWESOME DAY!!!!

Baby Dino Gift set.....

WARNING: LOTS OF PHOTOS!!!!

Hello and Happy Monday Everyone! Sorry I've been
MIA lately... I've been so busy with work & Life!
I was working on some projects to...
and there just weren't enough
hours in the day did get stuff done! :o)
So I had to let somethings suffer...

I thought I would post something today to show
you what I've been working on... One of my
really sweet, good friends was pregnant....
Baby #8 for her! All I can say is WOW to that! :o)
Any who.... She said it was her last baby and knew
it was a baby girl... That's when I stepped in with
an idea.... A couple of weeks ago I got 3 brand
new lite cartridges.... that I showed you.... Well
one of those cartridges was my inspiration
for what I'm about to show you!

This is the card I created for her!
As soon as I saw the (DINO PLAY) Cartridge
and looked at this image.... I knew what I
wanted to do! I know a Dino for a girl???
Hey.... Why not? Right? :o)
The design from my card was inspired by
my wonderful blogging friend AMY!
She sent me a fabulous "Thank You"
card awhile back and I LOVED IT!!!

I had to add an action wobble, just to
make it more fun! I used my Imagine to
flood fill the rosette and parts of
the baby dino....

Since this ended up being a heavy card...
I add support by put CS on both
sides on the inside.....

Then I had another idea!! I found this really
nice wood crate out in my storage unit...
and though... hummmm.... I could
totally decorate this and put her gifts inside....
Sooo.... I took some time painting it.... Trying
to make it match the paper I was gonna use....

Forgot that I bought this 12 x 24 paper pad by
K & Co. a looong time ago.... So glad I
still had it... :o) I used Scotch Quick Dry
Adhesive to attach the paper to the wood...

Then I thought it could use a little sanding
so it would blend together better....

Now comes the part where I added all
kinds of CUTE Baby Dino's and
Rosettes.... Used different baby
stamp sentiments as well.....
This is side 1....

On both ends I wanted some type
of scenery to group it all together...
So I designed this while at work one day....
Good thing the "Boss" didn't see me.... LOL
(Both ends are exactly the same)

This is the other side of the box...
with more CUTE Baby Dino's and
rosettes..... I added bows and wiggly
eyes to all the dino's.....

Here is the final product!!! I went a little
"BABY" crazy... so not everything fit in
the box.... So of course I made some
more Dino's.... this time in bigger sizes....

On these,  I added gems, just to
fancy them up a little bit more....

Here' s a close up of the other package....
This project took me some time to
do... but was sooo worth it!
I LOVE how everything turned out and
so did my girlfriend!!!! Which made me
thrilled to no end! I'm also happy to report that
Saturday night, she gave birth to a GORGEOUS
7lb. Baby girl... I live down the street from our
hospital and she gave me a call, so I went to go
meet my newest little friend! She's sooooo
stinkin' CUTE!!!! :o)

Anyway... thanks so much for stopping by!
Have an AWESOME DAY!!!
