2 Cards for 2 Challenges!!!

Hello and Happy Thursday Everyone! The week is over for
me already... I will try to spend some quality time in my craft
room the next few days creating some cards! They will most
likely be holiday related.... Since I told ya I like to think ahead
to holidays around this time of year... My son's Birthday was
great yesterday... He loved the cards that I made and his gift...
After we had our Birthday dinner/dessert My oldest son took
him to the movies to see "Captain America"! My hubby went too
because he likes those types of movies.... They all had a great time
and he told me it was a great Birthday! So that's all that matters to
me! He was HAPPY! :o) Anywhoo.... I'm gonna post 2 cards today!
Yes I know your jaws are dropping! But I wanted to get these in for
the 2 challenges I made them for before I start my weekend and my
sister starts to post! Or at least I hope she does! LOL
So here is the First one.... And the second one will be under
this post & it won't have any writing except for the recipe...
So here we go with Challenge Card #1!

This is one of the Birthday Cards I made for my Son Juston!
My other boys gave it to him with some cash in it!
So you know he liked that! hahahaha

Card stock, Ink, Designer Paper - Stampin' Up
I made the rosette myself using a strip of paper
Cut @ 1 1/2" x 12" scored @ every 1/2" and then I stuck
2 red circles on it to keep it in place....
Cartridges - Sweet Treats (Ice Cream Cone) Cut @ 3 1/4" (2x's)
Designer Calendar (16) Cut @ 1 1/2"
I used Glossy Accents (by Ranger) For the 16 & Ice Cream top

I added dimensionals to pop up the ice cream....
I also used a couple embossing folders for the
Cone (Argyle), Green Ice Cream (Swiss Dots), Red Top (D'vine Swirls)
I also added some Glossy Accents to the holes/sprinkles on
the blue ice cream.... Just to give it more pop....

Well I hope you like my card.... It looks much cooler in person!
I also made this for the Challenge over at:
Bitten by the Bug 2 - Make a project using the Ice Cream
Cone on the Sweet Treats Cartridge.... If you don't have that one....
use an ice cream cone from a cartridge you do have! :o)

Thanks for looking! The other card I made is below this one!
Have an AWESOME DAY/WEEKEND!
Theresa
