My First Shaker Card!!!!

Hello and Happy Thursday Everyone! OMGOSH.... It's been a week

since my last post. So sorry about that... but work has me busy like a bee!

I'm too tired when I get home from work to even think about crafting...

I'll have a 3 day weekend this week due to Memorial day, so maybe if

I have time I can craft away.... I know cleaning my house will be first....

darn house! LOL But hopefully I can fit in some craft time.... It's official....

Summer has started around here so that means I'll be working a lot... Not a fan

of that but it pays the bills! Right! :O) I still have several cards that I made

that I haven't shared with you, so I thought now is as good a time as any! :o)

 

 

I know Mother's Day has past.... but I wanted to share this

card I made for my Mom! The card design is from the

Silhouette store.... and as I was looking at it...

I thought??? HUMMMMM???? I wonder if I can

turn this into a Shaker card? Mind You --- I've

NEVER made one before! I should have watched a video

first --- But I didn't... I thought NAAAA --- I'll just wing it!

 

 So this is the final product... I do need to work on my shaker

card skills... but I really like how this turned out....

The designer paper is Digital of course.... :o)

Sentiment is computer generated...

And the best part is --- My Mom Really liked it! HA! :o)

Teacher Gift....

Hello and Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm so tired right now....

We have 12 families moving out of the area... Which on the one

hand is AWESOME for me.... cuz I get the items they don't want

to take with them when they move.... 

On the other hand....

there's soooo much stuff that I'm exhausted!

  I received several drop offs from these families already....

that I had to close my box (aka Donation box)

I'm working as fast as I can to get this stuff

cleaned and put out for my customers but you know

as soon as I open the box again.... I'm back to square one...

It's just crazy busy... So I may not have time to come visit

as often as I would like due to this "Rush" in donations...

But I will do my best to pop in when I can...

The fact that I'm typing this out with out falling asleep is amazing!

But I wanted to say "HI" to you guys... :o)

 

 

Hunter's Last day of school is Friday... It's suppose to

be next Friday but they built a new school here for the

Elementary kids and they wanted to start the tear down of

the old school ASAP.... So we can take them out of

school a week earlier if we like.... And with all the work

I got going on right now.... I could use his help! HA!!

 

Any who.... This is going to be the gift he gives to his Teacher.

I always give the Teacher something during the year and at the

end of the year to let them know that I appreciate them!

So I saw this box by Lori Whitlock in the Silhouette Store

and HAD to make it! HA!  Designer Paper is MME

 

I added 10 handmade cards to the box for her to use throughout

the year... (I hope she likes it) The Ribbon is Stampin' Up

2 of the flowers are My Craft Spot Rose Flower Dies

the other 2 flowers are from the Silhouette Store...

I added Gems to all the flowers and attached a

magnet to it for easy closing.... Normally I would

make a couple more things.... but with my work schedule

it ain't gonna happen! But I still wanted to give her

something made from me and this is it! :o)

 

Well.... I'm really exhausted now.... typing all this

stuff! hahaha Thanks so much for stopping

and my work/crafting! You guys are the BEST!

It's only May 7th and I've posted how many times already??? LOL

I promise I won't make this a habit! tehehhe 

 I wanted to share a card I made for a Challenge....

my other Mother's day card with you... I mean I do have a MOM

and a MOTHER IN LAW! So they are BOTH deserving of a card

Mine Craft Again??? & a Winner!

Happy Tuesday Morning Everyone! I hope your week is off

to a great start! Mine certainly is! Busy, Busy I tell ya!

I wanted to share a card I made for my son's birthday that

was this past Sunday... YES... It's another Mine Craft Card!

 

I promise it'll be the last one for a little while anyway! :o)

 

 

Of course he thought it was pretty cool and has it displayed

in his bedroom... So glad he liked it! :o)

Oh Theresa, this is gorgeous! This is so similar to the colorful, whimsical bouquet I've wanted to create.. thanks for making it for me! Hehe! Gosh I love every single flower so much. My favorite is the music note one, I think. and the sappy hearts, of course. The vase is so beautifully done, as well! Marvelous project, my friend! I hope you have a happy weekend. :o)

"Silhouette Challenges Blossom Hop Day 1"

So Silhouette Challenges is celebrating

So.... What do ya think? Not bad right? LOL

As soon as I knew the name of the hop I

had this vision in my head.... And well...

Here it is! A Bouquet of Flowers!!!! :o)

 

I did add some gems to some of the flowers,

due to their size.... :o)

 
And of course I had to add another flower to
the Vase I created! :o)

Here's the Details -
Digital Designer Paper - Echo Park (Beautiful Life)
Flowers - Samantha Walker & Totally Jamie (SVG)
Ribbon/Lace - SU
Vase - Jamie Cripps (SVG)
I used Dowels & painted them Green
Then I  Hot glued them to the flowers
I added a piece of Styrofoam to the inside of the vase
and inserted the dowels in it so they would stay....
