Felt Snowman....

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
Do you have big plans for Easter Weekend???
We did... but still having trouble with our
car, so we'll be staying home.... Just means
more time for crafting! 😊 I hope you guys can
get out and enjoy the beautiful weekend and maybe
collect an egg or two from the Easter Bunny! 😄

Yesterday, I showed you my holiday card from
last week... which was made but didn't get my
pictures done in time... So, today I'm gonna show you
this weeks holiday card! I tell ya what... My holiday
stash is looking pretty darn good so far! I'm really glad
I chose to get a jump start on them! 😊

Isn't this just so darn CUTE!??? LOVE the way this one turned out!
The Designer Paper is from my Extra Left over stash again -
My snowman is felt & I got him from Micheal's after the holidays
this past year. It was a bag with snowmen, Santa, doggies,
& Polar Bears. I plan to use the others on some cards & tags -
They already have adhesive on the backs,
which made it easy to adhere - The brand was Creatology
And I think they're super cute - this guy goes perfectly with the papers
I picked from my stash! 😃

Bride & Groom....

Hello & Happy Wednesday Everyone!
We have a short work week this week...
Thanks to Easter being on Sunday... We get
4 days off... This is our last break before
School gets out next month! Soooo,
hopefully I can play catch up with many, many
things I need to get done this weekend!

I thought I would share one of the cards I made
for my son... He needed 2 Wedding cards and wanted
them both too be different... Sooo, I found a design in
the Silhouette Store... I started out making it like
the card shape... but.... started to run into trouble...
HOW?? You ask? Well... Heck I don't know... All
I do know is after 4 tries... I came up with a new game plan...

Here's the card that gave me trouble...

Basically, the trouble began when I wanted to cut the shape
without the dotted fold lines... I thought I measured it
correctly... so when I made my score lines.. it was off...
So I tried it again... same thing... tried one last time and
got it right.... I then proceeded to make the card.....
Started looking great... then *Me* being the "Must add More"
crafter that I am.... choose to add some Nuvo drops
to the necklace (which is NOT on this card) ... Well..
I had a miss step... and it got in the wrong place...
When I tried to fix it... well.... let's just say.... their was
NO WAY to fix it.... so then I had to remake the WHOLE CARD!

So then I decided to resize the card.. cuz I thought it
was too big anyway... Well... then came the score line mishap
all over again.... By this time.... You would think I would have
given up... NOPE! Not this stubborn chick! 😂

I finally decided.. SCREW IT! I'm making this a basic card
of 5 x 5 and I'm cutting off the original dress &
tuxedo and adding it to the card front of this new
5 x 5 square card! Yup... that's what really happened...

I tell ya what... Sometimes when we craft and things
just don't go our way... we really should just STOP!
Next time I swear I'll do that! (maybe) 😁

** Supplies Used on this Card **

Cardstock - Stampin' Up Brushed Silver, Papertrey Ink, Georgia Pacific
Designer Paper - SEI (Pearl Foil Stack)
Card Design - Silhouette Store (#101542)
Sentiment - Making Memories (Wedding)

Time to Celebrate!

Hello & Happy Tuesday Everyone!
How was your weekend? Mine was crazy busy!
We had issues with the car (of course)... And then
I got a request for several cards from my son....
Which I wanted to get done & give to him before
he went home... Then of course my hubby wanted to spend
some quality time with me... Which made computer time pretty
much null! Then throw in Laundry, cleaning, cooking, etc. 🙍

Soooo, If I haven't hit up your blog recently,
no worries I'll get my rounds in, hopefully this week! 😊
I never even had a chance to share my holiday card with you...
I still need to take the pictures of it... LOL

I do have my Monthly Card Swap card to show you...
My card swap is tomorrow night, so I figure it wouldn't
hurt to share it the day before we swap! :)

The theme for April is (Baby or Kid Card) And
there was a sketch... but again I didn't follow it...
Just wasn't my thing... Luckily.. the ladies in my group
don't mind that I don't follow it sometimes, because they
enjoy getting my cards anyway! 😁

I decided to use Mojo Monday Sketch #485 Again....
I really liked that sketch
and I made my cards, Birthday cards... so I could use them for the
Teachers at School or for a kid/child! (wink wink)

I made some for a boy and some for a girl - This way the ladies in
my group can decide what they might need --

I think they turned out great - I added some Clear Wink of
Stella on the girly cards (Candles, Cake, Confetti)

-- Supplies Used on my Cards --

Cardstock - Bazzill, Stampin' Up, Papertrey Ink
Designer Paper & Elements - Echo Park (Birthday Wishes Boy & Girl)
Stitched Lg. & Sm. Card Mat Dies - My Creative Time
Stitched Strip Inside Card - Your Next Stamp

Beary Celebrate!

Hello & Happy Tuesday Everyone!
How was your weekend? Did you go out?
Stay in and craft? I actually stayed in and
organized some more... I got my new shelf
up and my Stamps fit on it perfectly... Sooo
While I did that I changed a few things in my craft room
so I could fit & keep the bookshelf my Hubby made me!

You didn't actually think I would cave &
give it to him did you?? 😂
I figured out a spot to put it... but that meant moving some
other shelves I had on the walls.... Picture this --
Hubby saying NO WAY the whole time and yet
does it for me anyway! 😀 So then, I decided to re-arrange
a few more drawers/tables - Vacuumed & cleaned it all
down (SPRING CLEANING) & now it looks like a clean
organized craft room again! YAY! That is until I
start pulling out my stuff to use again! 😀
You ALL know how it is!

I then ordered some more fridge bins so I can store
my 6x6 paper pads in them - and those will go on
the homemade shelf hubby made me.... they'll fit nicely I think!
Which will also free up some more space for
ummmmm.. OTHER CRAFTS!!! 😂

All in all it was a very productive weekend and I'm
very happy (For Now) how my craft space looks! 😉

After ALL the Jibber Jabbering I thought I would
share a Sweet Birthday card - The Music Teacher
at school, asked if I could make at least 5 more
female Birthday cards, for the month of April....
Apparently we have a lot of April Birthday Babies
(Including ME) 😃....

So, I had 4 on hand, ready to go and needed to make 1 more
to give her and this is what I made --

I think it turned out sooo CUTE!!!
I won this Stampin' Up (Pop of Pink) Washi Tape Collection
from my crafty friend Beckie over at My Mouse Dreams
So, I thought... hummm I better use it! 😃
I'm using my new Diagonal Stripe Sentiment Die & Beary Special Birthday Stamp set from My Favorite Things ....
