Hello and Happy Monday everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Today's card is a fun Christmas Card...

I realized yesterday that I really am

WAAYYYY behind in doing my Christmas cards...

I'm a very organized person and I would have almost

ALL my cards done by now.... Not sure

what's up with me... but I will be cranking out some cards

in the next couple of weeks or

I won't have time for my baking....

And well my KIDS LOVE my

baking sooo I must get with the program! :o)

Sooo now that I fell in LOVE

with making Easel Cards....

I thought I would share one with you today!

I'm not gonna lie.... I LOVE how this turned out!

I spent 3 days trying to figure out how I was

gonna do the door... I know that's SAD! :o(

But I wanted it to look just right... and I know

y'all know what I'm talking about! :o)

Anyway I finally got it made and I'm soooo

pleased with how I got it to look like a real door!

Here is the side view to show the Dimension...

I used Transparent Sheets to make the top of the door have

the Window look.... You probably can't tell by the photo's...

but up close & personal it looks like glass... I put the Transparent sheets

in between the shadow cut and the reg. cut...  and the door looks

wood because of the DCWV paper... Sooo glad I seen it in the stack...

Well I hope you all like my Easel Card... I could not be more

happier with how it turned out... :o)

I'll be back tomorrow with a Thanksgiving card!

Turkey and Pilgrim....

Hello and Happy Thursday everyone!

The week is winding down and before

you know it, it'll be Saturday! I Sooo love

my weekends... It's the one day I get to sleep in...

Daylight savings time is also this weekend...

Soooo don't forget to set your clocks back...

Ahhhh an extra hour of sleep on Sunday too!

I Sooo love Fall! tehehehehe

And since it is that time of year... I will

go shopping for my Turkey tomorrow!

If any of you have a Safeway or Vons near you,

they are on sale.... I go every year to Safeway/Vons to

purchase (2) sometimes (3) Turkey's to get me through

til the next year! Crazy??? Maybe.... But it's the only time

I will buy them and they don't cost that much! I believe the

sale is $4.99 small  to $9.99 for the big boys

I usually end up with a $7.99 Turkey at about 16lbs.

I tell ya it's the only way to go! LOL

Ok... Enough about my TURKEY! LOL

Cricut Cardz Challenge!

Hello and Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Today is our weekly Cricut Cardz Challenge!

I'm excited about today's card... I designed

it in my Design Studio first and then cut out

everything I wanted.... It came together just

as I envisioned it! The Challenge was to make

a card for Christmas with something that

starts with the letter S (Santa, Snowflake, Sled, etc.)

using ANY Cartridges you like and any colors you'd like...

Soooo Without further ado.... Here is my card! :o)

Well as you can tell... I used a lot of S words! LOL

Snowflakes, Snowman, Sign (that's what I call it anyway) :o)

Card Stock, Ink - Stampin' Up

Designer Paper - DCWV (The Christmas Combo Stack) Love this paper!

Glitter Card stock - DCWV (White)

Peachy Keen Stamps for the face

Cartridges - Christmas Cards (Snowman & Snowflakes)

cut @ 6 1/2" (2x's each)

Christmas Noel (Sign) Cut @ 4 1/2"

As you can tell.... I added the extra layers to make it

have more of a 3D effect... The glitter card stock

really makes this card standout....

And YES the inside is done too! This is going

in my personal stash for this Christmas.... I added

a large snowflake then a smaller one before connecting them

with a light blue brad.... Well that's my Design Team Card....

Apple Pie....YUMMY!!!

Hello and Happy Tuesday everyone!

I hope you are all off to a great week...

Today's card is another Thanksgiving

themed one.... I love baking this time of

year and sooo does my family... my oldest son

is already discussing what types of cookies

I should make for Christmas! LOL And then

I remind him that I bake what I feel like baking

unless he wants to help and then he becomes

awful quite! LOL This really is my favorite time

of year... Days get shorter and we stay in more and

enjoy the warmth inside our home.... and drink 

Apple Cider or Hot Chocolate with LOTS of

Marshmallows... We decorate for the holidays and

just try to enjoy each others company.... Key word

being TRY! LOL :o) Apple pie is one of the things I

enjoy baking so this card is inspired by that! :o)

My youngest went Trick or Treating

on Saturday and got lots of Candy!

He was sooo Happy to finally wear

his Costume! Here he is all

dressed up and ready to go! :o)

But now we move on to

another wonderful Holiday coming up..

Thanksgiving related with of course some

Christmas cards in the mix.... I Can't wait to share

I've had this cartridge for over 2 months and I really

haven't made anything with it until now!

It's such a cute and fun Cartridge... I'm gonna be

making some more things with this one for sure! :o)

Oh.... Christmas Tree.... Oh....

Hello and Happy Thursday Everyone!

I'm soooo glad we are coming to the end

of the week! My Seven year old can't wait

any longer for Halloween! It needs to hurry up!

I told him I would say that... even though I

can't do anything about it! LOL

He's dressing up as Darth Vader...

Even though he has NEVER EVER seen a Star Wars Movie...

?? I was like are you sure and he said YES! It looks cool MOM!

What do you say to something like that? I will tell ya this...

His costume is big enough, that I should get 2 years out of it!

We shall see what happens in a year, but I'm pretty sure if the costume

still fits he WILL Wear it again! :o)

Today I have a simple card....

Nothing super fancy or anything

just simple and easy to put together....

This should help those of you, who like to

make quick and easy Christmas cards! :o)

This card was made using the Christmas Cards Cartridge...

The MAIN reason I bought this cartridge was for this

Image... WHY??? I don't know... I was just drawn to it! :o)

Sooo as you can tell I just took pieces from the

Cartridge to make my card! I LOVE doing that! :o)

Hello and Happy Wednesday everyone!

Today's card is designed just for the

Cricut Cardz Challenge this week!

You are to make a Card for Thanksgiving

using the Card Feature from any Cartridge

you'd like, and using any colors you'd like!

Well it's not my week for the Design team but

I still wanted to play along.... Sooo here is my

card for this weeks Challenge! :o)

I actually got the card feature off of the

Thanksgiving Cartridge! :o) It shows it as a Place card,

 But I used my Design Studio

and made it the regular A2 Size card!

Then I cut the overlay out as well...

I cut off (1) of the flourishes because I just didn't like it!

The Turkey was cut at 2 1/2" and I cut a second

turkey leg for added pop! :o)

As you can see... I actually did the inside

of my card too! Shocker!!! I KNOW right! :o)

Just to let you all know.... I like to do the insides of my cards,

but only for family and friends.... If someone wants to purchase

one of my cards I do not do the inside...
