Branches...

Hello & Happy Monday Crafty Friends!

I realized that I hadn't shown you the last 

Christmas card I made from that October

Card Class I went too - So, I thought... Today

is a good day to share it! :)

Here's the card the Hostess made for us

to re-create --

I really like the branches on this card

I wasn't a fan of the ribbon or the sentiment

Now - Here's what I made --

I liked the layout of her card, so I stuck with that -

I changed it up a bit by using a Stitched Rectangle die

and an Oval Double Stitch die... 

I also used Red Cardstock as my Card Base - I thought the white was

too boring for me... 

I used a Stitched banner die with a nice simple Sentiment

And I also used a Stitched Scallop die for my 

Scallop border which shows smaller scallops than

the original card has. 

I also wanted to dress up the branches, so

I used some Candy Cane Trendy Twine with

a Red gem to highlight the branches a bit -

Of course, to finish my card, I added some Tiny Clear Gems 

and some Glitter Red & Green Nuvo Drops --

 I think my card took a lighter approach

and felt the original card seemed to bulky/heavy

to me... What do you guys think???

Warm Snowman Wishes....

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!!!!

Only a few more days of work then

it's Winter Break!! YAY!!

I'm looking forward to staying home and

crafting over the Holiday Break this year -

Last year I went to visit my sister for a week

which was a blast! But this year I'll be chillin'

at home and maybe getting some projects done

along with some organizing again!! (Neverending Really)

Anywho, I thought I would share another

2018 Christmas card with ya --

How CUTE is this little guy???? I've said it many times

in comments... I ADORE Snowmen! They just

make me HAPPY!

Ho Ho Ho!!!

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
How's your Christmas shopping, card making,
decorating, & baking coming along??

Do you think you're finally near the finish line?
Or do you have a looong way to go yet?
I'm near the finish line - I decided
to try baking a little early, so everything is in
the freezer and my family can take whatever
they want out when they want it -

I've never frozen my baked goods before --
this is the 1st year I'm trying it 
and just like the 
other things I've been doing early...
I kind of like it! You really don't have to be an
organized person to get a jump start -
Or at least I don't think so... (wink wink)


I thought I would share another Holiday card
I made using a Fabulous Victorine Originals Stamp --

OMGOSH!!! Isn't this sooo CUTE?? I LOVE the way

this turned out! The stamp is called Ornament Ho Ho Ho! (5108-S)

It's a large stamp, as you can tell by my card!

I stamped my sweet image on some Tim Holtz bright white 

watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx black ink

Then coloring it up with my Zig Real Brush pens & a clear

Wink of Stella pen

Hopefully you can see the glitter on this card - I tried to get a good shot --

I added some Peachy Keen Face stamps to my Ornaments for

a Fun, whimsical card! 

I used a stitched Rectangle die to cut out my image, and popped it

up with a piece of white Fun Foam. The designer Paper is Doodlebug, and the the

Cardstock I'm using is Recollections 110lb. white & Green

I didn't add anything else to this card, because I wanted the Fun Image

to be my main focal point - and I think it really stands out on it's own!!

As you know by now, I like to get the insides done too - 

I'm using another wonderful

Victorine Originals stamp - 

this one is called May the Joy

and I added a border strip along with a couple of snowflakes

just to tie it all together!

Spiced Pumpkin Latte....

Happy Tuesday Crafty Peeps!!

Today, I thought I would switch gears

and share a Thank You card -- 

You know, we all need them on had

for those special people in our lives! :)

I actually made this card back in October

and I have NOOO clue why I didn't share it sooner!!!

I totally LOVE the way this card turned out! It took me 3 or 4 days to complete it -

How crazy is that??? 

I started with the ADORABLE (Pumpkin Spice 6x6 

paper pad) - PINK & MAIN & the Blue DP from Doodlebug (Fall Friends)

Along with the (Stitched Topper Die) - JADED BLOSSOM

I knew I wanted to use both items on my card along with the

(Coffee Cup Die) from MFT -- They were sitting on my desk and

I started to have a plan... but then I didn't like where it was going

That's why it took me 3 or 4 days! LOL 

I had to leave it a couple of days then came back to it --

That's when I went CIRCLE crazy!!! Hahaha

I pulled out my SSS (Stitched Circle Dies) and

started to die cut all sorts of sizes with that Pumpkin Spice paper --

Then I placed them where I thought they'd look nice

and that was it! LOL, Of course, I needed a sentiment

so I pulled out my (Coffee Break) Stamp set from My Creative Time

Which fit perfectly in the space on the blue circle

The heart trio stamp is from (Coffee & Tea) - SSS

and the Small Heart Dies are from MFT (BluePrints #32)

I finished off my card with some Doodlebug Glitter Sparkles

& Clear Adhesive Gems from Stampin' Up

Other items used --

Stitched Rectangle Die - MFT

Big Shot, Misti, ATG, White Fun Foam,

Chocolate Chip Ink from SU, ThemOWeb tape runner

Sitting Santa Christmas...

Happy Monday fellow crafters!

How was your weekend? Mine was

really nice, cuz I took time to sit and watch a few

of my Favourite Christmas Movies - I actually

have WAY to Many Favorites! LOL

And, with it still being the holiday season I thought 

I would share another Christmas card I made -

This will be in the 2018 stockpile! (Wink Wink)

I LOVE Doodlebug - I know I've said it before... and I tend

to HOARD my Doodlebug papers! I know, I know... It SHOULD

be used... But it's sooo CUTE!! I know you Paper Hoarders Get Me!!

I just hate to use it and sometimes I end up buying 2 packs -

(1) that I use and the other that I keep until I really want to use it!

So with that in mind - YES I own 2 paper packs of this

ADORABLE Milk & Cookies Paper Pack Collection! HAHAHA

I used the Santa Visit Doodle-Pop for my image

The Acetate Heart is from the Odds & Ends

The sentiment is part of the paper pack

Assorted jewels are from Lucy's Cards

Stitched Rectangle Die is from MFT

Stitched Circle Die is from Simon Says Stamp

Stitched Strip is from MFT

Of course, I did the inside - Using a lovely Sentiment from

My Craft Spot (no longer in business) and I cut a strip of

that Doodlebug paper for the border - Then I cut one of the

cute square images out of the paper and punched

2 hearts out as well - I used my Clear Wink of Stella pen, to sparkle

it all up! And now I've got another holiday card ready to go!!

Cocoa Winter Hello....

Happy Sunday Everyone! I Know, I Know....

WHAT am I doing posting on a SUNDAY???

Well.... I wanted to play along with the 

Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Here's what I made last night so I can join in --

I thought I would get started on some January/February

Winter cards for a few of my blogging friends who

live in really cold areas! I figure they could use a 

Pick me Up during those months, so this is one

of the cards I made using the Carta Bella (All Bundled Up) Collection

I designed my card in my Silhouette program and used

my Print & Cut feature --

The Stitched Rectangle Die & Scallop Border Die are from My Creative Time

The Stitched Square Die is from Lawn Fawn

I used a snowflake embossing folder on the white banner

SumMore Fun - Mood Board Challenge #17

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!

Today... starts another FUN Challenge over at: 

SumMore Fun Stamps

 YAY! I know how you

guys enjoy a good Challenge!

Our Mood Board is ALL DECKED OUT - 

 You can use the Mood Board or go by the Theme
or Use the color combo or Use all 3!!! You don't have to use
a stamp from SumMore Fun if you don't have one!

Here's what I created to inspire you --

I wanted to use the Color Combo and some of the photo's
that are on the Mood Board -- 

I'm using the super cute RAISIN BOAT Stamp
set called HOLIDAY WISHES (9309-Z)

This set has so many fun sentiments on it!!

As most of you already know - I finished my holiday cards
already for this year - In Fact, they are in the mail already!
So, I'm already starting on next years!

Don't be mad at me for doing this - I just think this has
saved me so much time this year - Making one a week
throughout the year was a great challenge for me and
I plan to keep it up - Just to have all my cards done, signed,
sealed, & Stamped before December 1st was AWESOME!!!

I used 4 different ink colors to match the mood board colors and

added some Spritz Shimmer Sparkle spray over the top -

Since the sentiment had "Sparkle & Shine" in it - I wanted my card

to do just that - "SPARKLE" - I also used a wonky stitched die

just to give my card a little character! I added a matching gem

to each of the centers of the snowflakes and then added some

clear sparkle gems all over my card! I used a piece of

white fun foam to POP up my top layer, just so it has a little

more lift to it --

As you guys know, I like to have my insides complete as well -

I used the swirl bow stamp in the set & used it 

as a creative border on the inside of my card -

It turned out so cute and of course a nice holiday sentiment to tie

the entire card together!

Another card down for next year! Only a bunch more to go!!!
