Quick and Simple!

Hello and Happy Tuesday Everyone! I hope your week is
off to a great start.... Mine is OK too! :o) I recently had a
plumber come out to my house to fix a major drainage
problem we've been having... It actually started shortly
after we moved in 8 1/2 yrs ago....
So back in Dec. 2013 it was at it's worst
and I finally called someone to fix it
and he realized my pipes were NOT connected! So the plan
was to dig up my lovely pantry and put a HUGE hole
in it to see what was going on.... This was gonna cost me $$$$$
So I had to wait til I could save enough to fix the problem...
Well, finally this week it was done and my poor pantry
ended up with an even bigger hole than expected...
Needless to say, I have running pipes in my
kitchen again, which I am a very HAPPY GIRL...
no matter the cost! It just means I'll have to wait to put
my new flooring in.... Oh Well... Just another day in my life!

Here's a card I created in 10 minutes for my MIL
She keeps asking me about making her those Get Well Cards....
I reminded her that I do have a Day Job.... And that I would
get them done as soon as I have free time... So this past
weekend I took some of that "Free Time" and made 6 for her...

My Silhouette did all of the work for me of course...
I used the "Print N Cut Feature" which most
of you know is MY FAVORITE FEATURE!!! ;o)

Card Stock - SU
Digi Designer Paper - Fancy Pants (Park Bench)
Heart, Star, Banner Elements - Fancy Pants (Park Bench)
Sentiment - My Craft Spot (Feel Better Soon)
Black Twine
Blue brads - my stash

I'm enter this card in the following Challenges:

Little Scrap Pieces - Show it off Saturday
Silhouette America - Print N Cut
Craftin Desert Divas - Ribbon, Twine, Button, Brads (at least 2)
My Creative Time - Made in Minutes (Took me 10 minutes)

Well... That's it for today... Thanks so much for
stopping by! Have an AWESOME DAY!!!!

Theresa

I'm sorry to hear about all your pluming problems but so happy for you that you got it fixed especially since no home is a home without the kitchen and running water:) Glad to see you took some time to craft you MIL some beautiful cards, I'm sure she is very grateful.

How terrible about your pipes!!! And I totally understand about the saving up. We are redoing one room a year. Saving the money up. Last year was the start and we did the living room. This year will be the bathroom. I was hoping to do the back bedroom into my new crafty room this year, but something came up and I'm having to use the saved up money for that. We are just going to paint the bathroom. So won't cost a whole lot.
I really love this card. The papers and layers are wonderful. :)

The card is lovely and I'm sure your MIL appreciates it. (Does she know what a gem she has in you?) So glad you were able to get your pipes fixed. I'm sure it helps to have one less thing to worry about.

On a happy note, your card is amazing! I love the fun colors and pretty flowers! I also like how you added the twine bow in the center of the heart! So pretty Theresa!
