Hello & Happy Monday Crafty Friends!!
How was your Weekend?? Did you do
anything FUN? Boring? Lazy??
I sat down and made some cards along
with doing some coloring.... I'm still one of those
"Work in Progress" type of colorers. (YES I Know it's not a Word)
But it is now! hahaha... I really don't find coloring
relaxing.... I'm amazed at how many people say
it relaxes them... not me... I think it stresses me
out! Yeah.. I probably "over think" my coloring....
But that is how I am! 😃 I'm happy with most of
the images I did color... I just need to cut them out now
& PLOP them on some cards! LOL
Speaking of Plopping... I made another
card for School of course.... and I didn't just
stop at one!!! Take a look at what I made --
OMGOSH!!! I made 3 of them!! And I totally LOVE the way they turned out!!
I started out with the 2 in the back... making splatters and then
deciding on some Washi Tape to use... When I thought... HEY.. Why
not make another one using this cool Foil/White cardstock my friend
MaryAnn gave me last year! - 😜
I made the splatters with some Distress Spray Stains - Black Soot,
Tarnished Brass, & Brushed Pewter - The lovely
Washi Tape is from Joann's (Ms. Sparkle & Co.)
The cardstock I used is - Recollections 110 lb. Black, Georgia Pacific White,
Making Memories Metallic Gold Paper
The Stitched Star Dies are from Gina Marie Designs
The Stitched Rectangle Card Mat Die & (Celebrate) Word Die
are from My Favorite Things - I cut the Word Die out 9 x's
(3) for each card - I popped each card up with Fun Foam -
I think the Gold Foil, with the black & White look awesome together....
These cards look so cool up close & in person! I may want to make
a couple more just to have on hand for me!!!
