"Hello" series Card #3....

Hello and Happy Thursday Everyone! We are almost
through the week already! YEAAA!!! I LOVE
short weeks! I just found out my Sweet MIL is in
the Hospital! Over the past 5yrs. she has been
in and out of them.... And her health is so-so...
She was walking down the hall at her house when
she fell and I guess did enough damage to
require a hospital stay. I don't know all the details
for sure cause My hubby isn't all that good at telling
what happen. Her Daughter was up visiting from Texas
and called while I was out. So All I know for sure is that
she was hurt badly enough to be sent to the hospital and
that she will be there for a few days, then off to a
rehab center for a little bit longer. She has fallen so many
times that I just feel terrible for her. She is one of the
feistiest people I know and that's what I LOVE most about her!
Here is one of the "HELLO" Cards I made for her...

I created this card from a sketch I seen in the brand new issue
of the Paper Crafts "Card Ideas" for paper crafters...
They have some FABULOUS sketches in that book!
The creations are wonderful too but I prefer using the
sketches they have in it!  :o) Let me tell ya how
I created this quick and simple card!

Card stock - Stampin' Up
Designer paper - MME (Hattie)
Cartridge - Elegant Edges
I use the "Frames" on pg. 23 in the book...
It was cut @ 1" & 1 1/2"
Then I used the "Frames" on pg. 59 in the book...
It was cut @ 1" & 1 1/2"
Then I used the "Frames" on pg. 65 in the book....
It was cut @ 1" & 1 1/2"
Lacey Labels - "Hello" Cut @ 3 1/2"

I really like how this card turned out!
I think it's the colors and the paper I like
the best! Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment!
I LOVE reading them... Have an AWESOME Week/Weekend!!

So pretty! I agree, too, it's the colors and papers! Bless your MIL's heart. I'll keep her in my prayers. :)

Great colors and paper. I love the placement of the circles. Really stunning. Hope your MIL doesn't have to stay in the hospital too long or the rehab. Her fiestiness will get her on her feet sooner.

Love this card...Elegant Edges is my favorite cartridge!!! :)

I'll be asking my friend what kind of plums she used for her jam when I see her (hopefully this weekend) and I'll let you know.

Loving the contemporary design! I do everything traditional, but I have to play with a couple of things like this! Always an inspiration!!!

Hey, Theresa!!!

Just heard about your new celebrity status!!! Congratulations! Steph told me about your card on the Cricut Ideas cover so I had to check it out...FANTASTIC!! I'll probably buy the issue so I can say I knew her when....
My best to your mother-in-law...hope she's back on her feet really soon. Hi to Mimi...hope her son and his new wife have the good sense to ask for and take advice from their mom now and again! But I guess we all had to pretty much learn the hard way as we came up! Tell your young son/student I saw his art work a few posts back...looks like you have a budding artist on your hands! Good Luck to everyone!

I'm so sorry to read about your MIL. It sounds as though your husband passes on information like mine does. He's useless if somebody calls to announce a birth. I just get a message that a baby has been born but he can't remember the gender, weight, name, etc.!!
What a fabulous card! I got Elegant Edges just last week but haven't had time to play with it yet. I love the combination of frames you've used!
