You Did it Bubbles...

Hey There Crafty Friends! Happy Monday to ya!!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!!

I have a WINNER from Saturday's Blog Hop to announce
and a Graduation Card to share with you today!

Okay... So these cards were inspired by a design image I saw on the
Doodlebug Website and the Christmas cards I made using a
Flat Back - Which I got from Jennifer McGuire Last year...
Now.. Say that 10 times fast! HAHAHA

These cards have what I call FLAT BACKS - Which means the
cards are smaller and are attached to the larger Flat Card Base...
Does that make any sense???
Don't worry the next picture should help you out!! LOL

See how my card opens?
It's a smaller card size (3 3/4 x 5) and it's adhered
to a standard Flat piece of Cardstock (4 1/4 x 5 1/2)
It will fit inside a regular A2 size envelope...

So I created the image in my Silhouette Program
after seeing the design on the Doodlebug website -
I thought it was so cute and perfect as a graduation
Card front - I had to do some alterations to the
SVG file to get it looking like it does -

But I honestly love the way it turned out - I die cut the
Grad cap in Red & Black for the 2 different cards
and you can see how I did up the inside as well

The Black & White Cardstock is Recollections
Silver Cardstock is Neenah
Red Cardstock is Stampin Up
Designer Paper is Doodlebug & the dots paper
is a file I found in my Silhouette Program which
I printed out on some Bazzill White Cardstock then
sprayed with my Acrylic Sealer before cutting them out
on my Cameo Machine
Stitched Rectangle Die - My Creative Time

And the Winner of Georgiana's Anniversary Blog hop is

LARELYN!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Email me your address so I can get that
stamp set in the mail to ya!!!
(My e-mail address is on my blog under my picture)
I leave town this week so please email me asap
if you want your prize mailed before I go!! :)

Have a Wonderful DAY!!

Heart Splatters Stamp, Washi Tape, & some Heart Dies

So... I decided WHY NOT Make a Graduation Card
with the Same idea in mind???

I honestly think this turned out pretty Cool!!

I'm using the Your Next Stamp (Large Splatter) Stamp
in some Brillance Galaxy Gold Ink and
I'm using up some of my Gold & Black Washi Tape

The Stitched Rectangle Die is from My Creative Time
The Assorted Stars Dies are from Your Next Stamp (Stripe-Tastic Stars)
Grad Cap Die - Sizzix (Crazy Things)
The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom (Simple Sayings 3)
Which was Heat Embossed with some Ultra Fine Black
embossing powder from Simon Says Stamp

Everything was die cut through my Gemini Jr.

the White Card front to a Black piece of Fun Foam
before attaching it to my Black Cardbase!

Red & Blue Congrats...

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty friends!
Wahoo! We are 1/2 way through the week already!
I'm certainly looking forward to the weekend!

I don't know about you... but the weather here is HOT already!
We've been in the 90's and my AC is working hard!
Last year, I think it was a little cooler still at this time
of year... but I guess Mother Nature is ready to get this
party started! LOL
As long as I stay inside, I'm a happy camper! LOL
Summer is not my favorite season
but I do enjoy having my son home from school
so we can take day trips together or visit family
while he's off... Come August, I'm sure I'll be
happy for him to get back to a routine... But
for now... we'll just enjoy his time off! :)

I've got another graduation card to share with you

I made a Male & Female Graduation card!
You never know which one they'll need
so I went with both and I also went with Red & Blue -
Utah's school colors are Red or Blue (mostly)

So, I thought I would stick with those colors on some
of my cards and other cards are just black/gold/white
or Black/Silver/white - since you can never be
to sure on what someone is really
looking for in a graduation card! :)

I found the Silhouette images through Google and
traced them in my Silhouette Program
adjusted the sizes to work for my card fronts and
then cut them out. I popped them up with
some dimensionals from Stampin' Up

The Stitched Rectangle Die & Postage Stamp Frame Die
are from My Creative Time
Cardstock is Recollections 110lb Black & White
The (Congrats) word Die is from My Craft Spot (No Longer in Business)
I cut them out 3 x's each in Silver Neenah Cardstock with some
Stick it adhesive on the back side
The Designer Paper is some old Stampin' Up 6x6 pad I had

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a FABULOUS DAY!!

a more Feminine touch - I made 2 of them

The Sentiment was Heat Embossed in Ultra Fine White
Embossing Powder from Simon Says Stamp
The Sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink
The Stitched Rectangle is from My Creative Time

The Future Starts here...

Hello and Happy Monday Crafty Friends!
How was your Mother's Day Weekend???
Mine was really nice and quite just like I like it! LOL
Hubby took me out for lunch on Saturday to avoid
the crazy crowds on Sunday and I made a bunch more
Graduation cards...

Have any of you felt like you made too many cards
at once and then didn't know what to make afterward?
That was/is me right now... UGH! I spent one weekend
making a bunch of Design Team cards, then
the following weekend I made a bunch of Graduation cards,
then again the next weekend making more graduation cards!
I ended up at one point CASING myself again... cause I
didn't know what to do... Sometimes it just flows...
and sometimes I get drained and come up with nothing...

I'm just glad I got the graduation cards done...
I'm NOT making any more this year unless I
absolutely have too! Ya know what I mean? (Wink Wink)

Well... We got about 1 1/2 weeks left of school
over here... This week is a Full week and next week
is a short week with short hours... Today's the
School's Annual Carnival so I'll be going to work
late tonight! Not my favorite thing to do... But
someone has to clean up the big mess they
leave behind! hahaha
My son said he'd come with me tonight to
help clean up around the school... He's
such a good kid... Sometimes I just can't
believe he's my son! LOL

Anyway... enough of my silly rambling...
Here's a Graduation card that I made
for some of the Teachers at school - They're the
ones who requested I make the graduation cards
for them and I'm happy to do it --

I used the Simple Stories Rad Grad Collection -
Cardstock is Recollections 110lb Black, Bazzill, DCWV Shimmer Gold
I used my Sheer Shimmer Sparkle Spray on the Stars & Diploma
Assorted Rectangle Stitched dies are from My Creative Time

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a FANTASTIC DAY!!

Your Future is Bright!!

Hello and Happy Tuesday Crafty Friends!
How was your weekend?
How's the week going so far for ya?
As the School year winds down for us
I've been keeping busy... We have lots of
events going on for the next couple of weeks
so my schedule is going to be out of whack! LOL

I love my job so it'll be interesting with the kids
getting more antsier as the next few weeks progress!
And I found out that I'll be working all Summer!
Which I'm okay with... My hours will be cut so I can still
enjoy Summer and receive a paycheck! (Wink Wink)

Anywho... I thought I would Share a Graduation card I made -
I spent this past weekend making a
bunch of Graduation cards that the Teachers requested...

I saw the "Shades" SVG file in the Silhouette Store and HAD to have it!
I kind of had an idea the moment I downloaded it -- I added Glossy Accents
to the Glasses, to give it a more realistic look!

Cardstock - Bazzill, Recollections, 110lb, Fun Foam
Designer Paper - Echo Park (Wish Upon a Star)
Shades SVG File - Silhouette Store (#261236)
Grad Cap SVG File - Silhouette Store (#64661)
Large Stitched Rectangle Die - My Creative Time
Small Stitched Rectangle Die - My Favorite Things (Blueprint #8)
Congratulations Word Die - PaperTrey Ink (Cut 3x's)
Big Shot, Cameo, Stick It Adhesive, ATG
