Shaker Star...

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty Peeps!
I'm back with another SHAKER Card to share with you -

This card was made for another Staff member at school -
I think giving a Shaker card to someone is always
so much Fun! They can shake it for hours and never
get bored of it! (Okay maybe that's just me)  - Wink Wink

This one has a lot of Sparkle to it! I'm using the
Glitzy Pastels Glitter Paper Stack by DCWV - It's a 6x6 pad
I'm also using Little B Stitched Stars Dies on my Shaker...

I added an assortment of Sequins to my shaker and on the
card front - The Celebrate word die is from MFT and I cut it
out with that pretty DCWV Glitter paper too...
Then I just added an additional Stamped Sentiment!

Super fun & sparkly card!
Have a FABULOUS DAY!!!

Let's Party!

Hello & Happy March Everyone!
Spring is just around the corner!
Well... maybe not for everyone but where I
live the weather has been warming up!
In fact, next week is our Spring Vacation...

I still find it funny that our Spring Vacation is
technically still during Winter... But because of
our warm weather being out west, I guess it
makes sense, also with school ending in May.
They gotta fit it in there somewhere! LOL

So... This weeks theme is gonna be SHAKERS!

It's been a while since I made one or two of them
and my Sweet Dear friend Beth had a birthday recently
which got me on the idea of making shakers for the week!

This is the Birthday Shaker card I made for my Crafty friend Beth over
at Beth's Beauties blog - I was actually late... Usually, I'm on top of
things but sometimes I slip up! OOPS! :)

She did get the card and that's why I thought now would be
a great time to share it!

I used an assortment of Distress Oxides and blended
them together on a piece of white cardstock
then I added some Gold Shimmer Sparkle spray to it
and then let it dry -

While it was drying I started to look through my
Birthday dies and thought I should use one I
have never used before and there it was from
Papertrey Ink called Text Block-Party Time

I bought it forever ago when they had a sale
thinking I would use it... NOPE! Not until recently!
This is why I'm not buying anymore crafting things
for a while... Too much nice stuff not getting used!

So I die cut it out and thought "SHAKER" is the way
to go! LOL, So I added an assortment of Sequins
and some fun foam and created it - I then die cut out a
Rectangle Postage Frame die from My Creative Time
in Black cardstock - It totally made the shaker POP!

Since I already had Gold Shimmer on the shaker
I thought it would be best to add the Gold to the Black
cardstock too... then I added it to the White Cardbase
so everything would flow nicely -

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a FANTASTIC DAY!!!

Crafting is my Jam!!!

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
YAY! The weekend is here already!
I always look forward to doing NOTHING
on the weekends - Staying in my PJ's is way
more fun than running around town doing errands!!!

I have one more PRINT N CUT Hybrid Card to Share!

I designed this one for a SWEET CRAFTY FRIEND OF MINE!!!
She really likes this Echo Park Digital Paper Collection called (I Heart Crafting)
So, off to work, I went with designing this one in my Silhouette Program

I LOVE the pretty Colors in this Collection

As you can see from my Screen Shot -
I designed it first and then copied it to separate the pieces for
printing then cutting out - I made 2 of this card -

The Scallop border was just for reference -
I used my EK Success Scallop Border punch on my card

I also want to mention, that I tend to make my
Digital cuts a little bigger than my original design -
WHY? you ask?

Well, it's because I tend to use my Regular Metal Dies
on my cards (giving it the more Handmade look)
Cuz they ARE HANDMADE!!! :)

So, like the circles I created, I make them a little bigger
on the screen and cut them out then
I use my Stitched circle die to give it the look I want -

Now, some of you might say... THERESA...
You can make stitched lines on your circles
and cut it out - YES! I know that... But I Don't
like the way it looks - So, I cut it out as a circle then
I use my stitched dies on them -

This is just the way I LIKE to do IT!
You can do it any way you like... :)

If you have any questions on how to do this method  -
that I may have forgotten to mention
Please shoot me an email (My email Address
is under my picture) on my blog -

Thanks for stopping by this week!
Have an AWESOME WEEKEND!!!!

Birthday Gift Card!

Hello & Happy Thursday Crafty Peeps!
I'm back with another Hybrid Card
using Print N Cut and my Silhouette!

This is another Birthday card for
a Teacher at School - You guys know
I always need to have birthday cards
made since I make them for our Staff!

I'm using the Echo Park Digital Paper Collection (I am MOM)
The Sentiment & Stitched tag are from my stash
and the triple bow is made with Lemon Twist Trendy Twine!

Here's what it looks like on my Screen Mat -
I always design the card first, choose my paper, then
make a copy of it so I can separate the pieces to
cut them out while keeping the original design
off to the side for my reference!

Sometimes, I just spend a day designing cards in
my silhouette studio program - either to use with Digital Paper OR
with Regular papers - I always like to create my designs
ahead of time, so when I'm short on time
I just need to pull it up and cut out my pieces -
or use the design as my reference with my metal dies!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a Beautiful Day!!!
