Live it Up Cowboy!!!

Hello and Happy Tuesday Everyone!
How was your weekend?
 Did you do anything FUN?

We're teaching our youngest how to drive
so we've been taking turns driving with him
on the weekends. I took him out on Friday
for 3 hours and it was fun hanging with my baby!

It reminded me that I only have 2 years left
with this sweet handsome guy before he moves on
to bigger & better things in his life!
Makes me a little sad! :(

Anywho... This weeks theme is PRINT N CUT!

I LOVE using my Printer and my Silhouette together
I have tons of Digital Designer paper collections
on my computer (Saves me space in the craft room!)

So let's get started!

Today's my Co-Workers Birthday and he is 100% Cowboy!
So I designed this card just for him - I hope he likes it!

I'm using the Carta Bella (Giddy Up Boy) Paper Collection
Everything was printed out on my Canon Pro 9000 Mark Printer
using a 12 x 12 sheet of Bazzill white smooth cardstock -
Then I put it in my Silhouette Machine so it could cut out all the pieces

As you can tell in my ScreenShot picture - I created this card
with a design, I made a while ago for a different card!

This type of card is called a HYBRID
Where it's printed out but then you still piece it together
yourself along with adding embellishments
I added some Papertrey Ink Jute Twine - Tied them into small
knots and adhered them to the paper buttons

The Cowboy on the horse is from the Silhouette store and
I just dropped in some Digital paper to give it the color it needed!
The Sentiment is a stamp from my stash
I also used a couple of Dies from my stash as well

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a Fabulous Day!

Theresa

This is an awesome card! I love seeing your screenshot. As you know printing digi doesn't agree with me lol! I would have to get a different printer for sure before even attempting it. I can definitely see how convenient it is though! I love how you were able to cut the banners, buttons and everything else with just splashes of printing on your paper. I'm afraid that collecting digi paper would become a WHOLE other addiction if I got started in that 😁

This is so cool, one more reason I want to get rid of my cricut and switch! I have never used digital papers and printed them out. I am checking out your printer as I type.

That really came out nice. I love the silhouette of the cowboy!

I thought your "paper" placement was interesting. When I do print and cut, I drag the color into the shape rather than make a rectangle and put the shape inside it as you've done. When I do it my way, if the shapes are different sizes, the size of the pattern on the paper changes. Your way, it would stay the same. Hmmmm. Something to try!!

Hello my friend! Sorry that it's been so long since my last visit. I'm off to catch up with your fab creations!

This one is just cute as can be! I love the image and great papers you've used. Also loving the layout - those little banners are such a wonderful touch and the twine is a great added detail!

The time sure does pass quickly! I’m sure the time you spent teaching your son to drive is going to be a very special memory for you both! Your card is fantastic btw!!

You are brave! My hubby ALWAYS drove with the kids in his vehicle. Me...just couldn't do it. One less thing I had to stress about because they would have given me a heart attack. Loving the western theme.
