Hello & Happy Friday Everyone! YAY!
It's the Weekend!!! Which means I have
a nice holiday break! YESSS!!!!
What shall I do this weekend???
Stay in my PJs and craft? Or maybe
spend some time in the kitchen cooking/baking?
I love the idea of both things! They are my favorite
things to do anyway! 😉
I'm back with another Birthday card that has been foiled!!!
This time I did Heat Foiling and No Heat Foiling!
(No Heat Foiling) - I made the assorted sized background strips
using an assortment of adhesives strips...
I think I used 1/8", 1/4", & 1/2" strips then I just laid the
foil right on top of the adhesive rubbed it in
and pulled up to reveal the design... The foil I used
was Minc Pink Gold Ombre -
(Heat Foiling) - The Sentiment with the cake on it
is a Gina K foilmates design that I put through
my Yourstory Laminator & used some DecoFoil Bright pink
I did add some jewels and feel this one
is very girly with all the pink on it! 😊

I haven't played with the foil because I didn't think I needed to add yet another supply to my ever growing list. But, now I'm seriously rethinking the whole foil thing! This is super cute and I really love the shimmer and shine. Ugh...looks like the crafting budget is gonna take another hit!

Foiling...that really is still new for me. I did a little with the alcohol inks and loved it. I may need to try this one when I get more time during the summer. Plus, I need to make a bunch of birthday cards. School is keeping me busy right now.
