SumMore Fun - Mood Board Challenge #16

Hello & Happy Friday Everyone!
Today... starts another FUN Challenge over at:

 YAY! I know how you
guys enjoy a good Challenge!

Our Mood Board is LET IT SNOW -

You can use the Mood Board or go by the Theme
or Use the color combo or Use all 3!!! You don't have to use
a stamp from SumMore Fun if you don't have one!

All the rules for this fun challenge are RIGHT HERE!

Here's what I created to inspire you --

I wanted to use the Theme and some of the photo's
that are on the Mood Board --

I'm using the lovely ELK SILHOUETTE IN SNOW Stamp
This is a really good sized stamp and makes
a great Focal Point on my Holiday card -

YUP! This is a 2 for 1 card!! Hahaha
I got my Challenge post done & made another Holiday card
You couldn't ask for a better plan! tehehehe

It was a Challenge to take a picture of this card- there
is a lot of foil going on - it's very elegant in person!

I had to make several attempts at this card before I finally got one
to foil correctly! YUP! Lots of wasted foil! I don't have a
Laser Printer, so I had to figure out a different method for foiling
with my stamp - I tried Clear Embossing, Heat & Stick Powder,
Bonding Powder, and FINALLY GLUE! Ding, Ding, Ding!

I used the Essential Glue Pad and inked up my stamp with it
using my Misti - Then I attached a piece of
Blue/Silver Minc Foil - I then put it through my
Laminator 2x's in between a piece of parchment paper
then let it cool completely before revealing the fine details!
I was doing a HAPPY DANCE, when this one came out!

I then trimmed a piece of Blue Foil Cardstock down to
4 x 5 1/4 and added some Fun Foam to the back of my
Foil Stamped Image - attached those 2 pieces together -
Then attached them to my White Card Base -
Since the foil has Blue & Silver - I wanted my sentiment
to be Silver - So I Die Cut the (Merry Christmas) die from
Elizabeth Dies with some Neenah Metallic Silver Cardstock
3'xs so the words would POP on my card -

I really LOVE the look of this card - The foil just
shines and the classic colors give it an Elegant Style!

I hope you guys can join us --
I would LOVE to see what you create!

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with loads of good food shared with family. What an awesome card. Love the foiling and scene you created. I think it would be a perfect masculine card too.

Beautiful! Love that image and love that you foiled it... and parchment paper! I am all set for foiling with a laminator and wasn't sure what to use to put the foiled pieces in between... I have parchment paper! Thanks for the inspiration!

Gorgeous! What a beautiful color. I'm sure that one was a toughie to photograph. I really need to take a class or two on photographing shiny, sparkly, glittery things!

Hello Friend! Hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving. Ours was good but just too hot here -- 97 degrees!!

I love your card, the colors are beautiful. Have a great week.

This card is so pretty! I love all the different ways the DT used that stamp. I have not tried foiling because I figure my escapades with it would turn out like yours did LOL! I am sure it is stunning in person with all that shine!
