Joy, Joy, Joy....

Hello and Happy Wednesday Crafty Friends!
Last year I challenged myself to make 1
Christmas Card a week - until Mid. Oct - 1st of Nov.
Well, I did manage to get all my holiday cards
done and I labeled all the envelopes & had
them all stamped by Dec. 1st! YUP! It worked for me --

So this year I will continue with this same process -
the only thing is - I've already got 19 cards done! Say WHAT?

Well, since I finished all of mine early enough I still
had Design Team projects that needed to be made
for the holidays... so that got me a jump start on my
2018 Christmas cards! How crazy is that??

I'm so happy I did it though - it made me realize
how stressful making your own cards can be during the holidays
and knowing that I'm doing them weekly throughout the year
really does add LESS STRESS!

So, today's cards (Yes more than 1) was
actually made the end of Nov.
I found the image in the Silhouette Store
and then these quick cards came out of it --

Check them out --

I got 2 Regular cards and 1 Gift Card made -

Here's my Simple Gift Card Holder -- This was actually a mistake when I was doing
the sizing in my Silhouette Program - Of course NOW it's a good mistake! LOL
The JOY image is (#230500) and the Scallop Card Shape is (#25782)
I went to cut the Scallop Card shape out and realized it was
NOT the size I wanted - but then I realized it could
totally work for a Gift card design and that's how this one came about!

Here's the inside of my holder --
I used the Jaded Blossom (Scallop Slider & Topper Die) to
make the slits for a gift card to sit inside of this

This was the actual size I was looking for when deciding to make the JOY Image
into a card - I had to enlarge everything before getting it to cut the size I wanted --
This actually opens just like the gift card, but on a Flat Card Base

I really like the fun way it opens and how I brought the JOY
inside the card as well -- I tried to find papers that matched
the Fun colors -- The inside sentiment is from
My Craft Spot (which is no longer in business)

This is the last Joy Card I made - Simple and easy to mass produce
if needed - But I'll  probably just stick with the ones I already made --
I added Clear Wink of Stella to the J, Y, Carrot Nose, & Ear Muffs on
ALL 3 projects - Before I did though - As I have an Inkjet Printer
I spray my paper with some Acrylic Sealer first and let Dry Completely
before adding any sparkle - otherwise, my images would fade out
when adding the wink of Stella on them - Just an FYI for you

I used Ice Cube Jewels from Lucy's Cards on all 3 projects

Other Products Used --

Cardstock - Recollections 110lb., Stampin' Up, Bazzill, Fun Foam
Designer Paper - MME & DCWV
Stitched Rectangle Die - MFT
Stitched Scallop Die & Smaller Rectangle die - Craftin' Desert Divas
Big Shot, Misti Tool, Canon Pro 9000 Printer, Cameo  3

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a FABULOUS DAY!!

Great work as always -
I love the way you do these one a week -
I think I may try - I did one last week but wont post it as I completely botched the sentiment on the front, it was a pop up box, so here's to this week.

These are really cute & festive! I makes Christmas cards all year, too, but need to work at deciding who they go to earlier & do the envelopes. That's my goal for 2018!

I sure wish your goals would rub off on me. You are so organized. The card is too cute and so is the matching GC holders. Love that snowman.
